Just lost for words lol!!! How many key changes were there? Anyways, the drumming was magnificent. This song ought to be used for a track in a movie theme. It has so many fills, twists and turns that you can’t keep up with it, but has an excitement to it. I love the song, love the key changes, and love the creator of “Sparkling.” Excellent Yoyoka. @@waynesulatyski2430 Sparkles is a music video. Let me put it this way. The song Sparkles can be used for an action movie. Like an intro or during a scene. Or an ending. I’m just saying the song has so much power and excitement to it.
Totally agree. Hard to imagine this won’t be picked up for an anime series or movie in Japan. It’s perfect for that. Perfect for Hollywood too: something like Fast and Furious or whatever those car movies are!

This girl is a genius. She is not going through the motions, she has feel, she has soul, she understands that her performance can probably be slightly flawed, but nevertheless, she goes for it. And almost 100% nails it. 👏👏

Have you ever heard the expression their style? So no drummer ever truly plays what another drummer plays unless it’s simple pimple !!!!!!
Reminds me of a Frank Zappa track, it's what I would call a progressive, rock jazz fusion. She shows amazing skill as a drummer and as a composer/producer!
Excellent!!! This was an extraordinary performance 👏! We clearly saw the tremendous effort put forth here in performing this impressive piece of music! The video of Sparkling tells a story so lighting focused on that. But here we get to clearly see what you are doing with the drum kit!
I laughed and I cried. The playing was so beautify, 1:30 tempo change... Then 1:40 Single foot bass triplets like John Bonham.... Then 3:30 double bass and tom triplets so clean and on tempo.. and that was in the first 2 min of the song..... Yoyoka has a great internal clock. IF THIS IS HER preferred style, Progressive Fusion Jazz Rock I AM 100% ON BOARD... Her playing is so sophisticated. I still can't believe how young she is.
This was absolutely fantastic and as commented previously, a real treat to see the uninterrupted performance.

Yoyoka only 12y here..and putting the drums on another level allready.
I'm really running out of superlatives with this gal. I've been following her for years now, and I've witnessed her growth. And for her to reach full maturity before her teenage years is nothing short of amazing. If she can compose her own symphony she will be compared to Mozart. Music just flows out of her. I wouldn't be surprised if she can literally taste music. She instinctively learn these music by ear!

What intrigues me the most is how I heard the drums but never heard the drums on these covers as clear and precise as when Yoyoka plays along with the tracks. The foot camera is so cool to watch. Everything I watch of you is so exact and effortless, then the icing on the cake is to watch how much you love to play! I have seen almost all of your videos (many times) and the proficiency on this song is prog rock to the tenth degree. So far my favourite. ☮

So I accidentally listened to this at .75x speed and didn’t even realize it. It’s amazing to do so. Her timing is so perfect and you can see and hear exactly what she’s doing so clearly. Then when I realized my mistake I listened at regular speed. Phenomenal. There are no words!

"New Progressive Rock" sounds like a contradiction in terms. But what you are doing lives and breathes in the present and is absolutely contemporary. (And also the Pinnacle of mastery.) At the same time brings me back to so much I grew up listening to and still enjoy to this day. Thanks to you Rock is off life support and alive today. And wow do you kick the crap out of those skins and cymbals in a good way!
