This video made me realise that black doom is likely coming back so they can retell Shadow’s story since it’s most likely going to be his backstory in the third Sonic movie.
I really hope Black Doom is at least alluded to in some form. I understand if they'd just take the plot of SA2, but it would only be telling half the story
It kinda gives me vibes on Sonic 06 (the second most hated Sonic game). While the game is titled Sonic the Hedgehog, most of the story and lores focuses on Shadow’s side (The Solaris Project, Mephiles the Dark, etc.) Though I don’t think people will pay much attention since the game doesn’t exist in the timeline (except in memories).
Ive never read archie so had to google this, i mean i highly doubt it would get added but i googled a bit and Ian Flynn did write Sonic Universe #59, so I wouldn't be surprised to have a throwaway gag about it like how Tangle was mentioned in Frontiers
@leondaglish2395 that is true, so mentioning Tangle still feels natural. Not actually read IDW since around issue #55, i did really enioy what I read though

steam deck is better than the switch. Also shadow did not use chaos control. He used chaos Snap.
