I used to build these cars in Coventry when working at jaguar Radford plant I also built two seven litre v12 engines with warrior 5 valve per cyl heads for the 220 but they ended up in xjs
I love the idea of modding a car in the small details, like wiring, and making it more reliable...I still remember that 348 Biturbo project of you guys, that...IIRC, used Toyota parts in the wiring? I may be wrong on this one, but I'm sure I read something like that somewhere. And I was blown away back then...basically making a Ferrari reliable in electrical terms. And I sorta see the same thing again with what you guys are doing with this Jag. Congrats on the project, it sounds mean! \o/
You are correct, we used Toyota Camry on plug coils haha. We definitely aim to make our builds reliable. Nothing sucks worse than a broken car so we always try to make our cars last!
Would love some more info on that wiring wrap. Turbo tubing, was it called? Also lol at the laptop date. Remember to thank our greatest ally for the truck bombs that day. Urban moving systems
Here is a link to where we get it from. It's good stuff! www.mcmaster.com/products/insulation/high-temperature-electrical-insulating-tube-sleeving/?s=insulation
There's not a whole lot of space to redesign the diffuser due to the frame structure underneath, but some could be done. Send me an email if you are interested in talking about it. omd.sandiego@gmail.com
Now THAT is a Jaguar
I love this series. Such a rare and unique car.
Absolutely amazing work !! Who tf is brave enough to " crack " open an antique Super Car ?? Especially such a low production XJ220 ???
XP was the shit!

That is really awesome! They are very unique and cool cars. The prototype with the v12 would have been cool if Jaguar had more money!
Dude your work is Simply amazing👏👏👏
