Thanks for sharing, I always love riding the A train between Howard Beach and Broad Channel cause of the Oceanview but I prefer the old trains cause it has those seats by the window where you just look to your right instead of turning, BTW you did now they were doing shuttle service from Rockaway Blvd to Rockaway Park til labor day
Nice catch on those R211s. I’ve rode them 6 times this past year. Speaking of Rockaway Park, I’ve rode the Rockaway Shuttle for the first time Tuesday evening to Broad Channel and caught the A train back to Brooklyn. Beautiful Broad Channel canal
That train ride from Astoria Queens to my hometown Rockaway Beach Queens is about a 21/2 hour train ride. My hometown Rockaway Beach Queens has the best waves and is the number 1 top beach spot to surf on out of the 5 boroughs. Surfers from all over always go Rockaway Beach Queens to surf

Where u got off is the park or the beach as I want to go to the beach soon and this video made my mind up to here instead of Coney Island. I do need to go that area as my mom cemetery is near jfk st Raymond’s catholic cemetery to wish her a happy belated birthday and say hi. I never been their on my own but always been in a family member car but now all the family members but one moved away and my brother now is a very old man in his mid 70’s. So it’s me learning this on my own.
