Let the officials know that they are officially releived of their positions and stop voting for lawyers cum professional politicians as those you choose to invest your trust and security in.there's nothing in past history to support the delusions of them being capable of-much less accomplishing something that actually does benefit all equally,fairly and honestly.I mean like- if:out of the entire U.S.A.,the best we can put forth as possible candidates is a choice between trump and killer-i mean hillary,then we are fucked.I'll vote for fred flintstone and feel better about it.but back to reality,surely no one actually believes that their vote has any sway in the matter or that the official leader in office isnt the one calling the shots do they? but I digress...
Athens has already been under a shelter in place ordinance for 3 weeks but it seems this weekend when the statewide order kicked in folks just ignored both orders. In my apartment community alone, kids were allowed to play outside in groups larger than 10 until midnight. Saturday, several BBQ grills fired up with groups more than 10 congregating. Vehicular traffic and visitors in and out all hours of the day and night. People are just tired of being cooped up in their homes, especially with their kids. It's sad they are not taking this seriously. It's a slap in the face to those who are suffering or have lost loved ones to the virus.
Georgia will not win the war if this is all the Governor is going to do. I have a feeling the Governor is a big golf player. Anyone who reads my post and others like it; remember it/them 4 weeks from now when the death toll in Georgia is a horrific number and cases of people infected. As also for Churches not on the list of being closed; I read comments when 11Alive is live streaming and bless their souls, so many will post 'Go to Church; God will keep you safe.' So yeah, that right there says a lot. My God will keep me safe as long as I do NOT put myself in harms way carelessly. But if I go to a place were many people will be packed into a building; its like holding a rattle snack, putting my face to its face and saying God won't let the snake bite me..... stupid, just plan stupid. Just saying....
