He’s a excellent dentist with extreme knowledge of what he does, he explains the procedure to the point. I can’t wait to be in his dentist chair to rebuild my mouth. Ty for your expertise
Thanks for the information you give us. I have a question about mixing types of prosthesis. I heard a dentist suggest that if you want Zirconia teeth, you should only get it for the upper arch & get metal bar with acrylic prostheses for the lower arch, because the lower maxillary is suspended and supported by muscles, more so than the upper maxillary, therefore, the zirconia structure will be too heavy for the mandible. Is there any truth to this? My concern is that I want Zirconia prosthesis, and if Zirconia is harder than the acrylic, won't it ware down the acrylic over time with chewing & so on? Plus I just don't like the idea of getting 2 different types of prosthesis.
Maybe not charging people the cost of 2-3 cars for such a small piece of technology, people would not feel the need to seek any alternative method for getting the very thing that isn't seen as the 'bicycle option' that traditional dentures are called by so many dentists...... 2k PER ARCH for the equivalent of 'bicyle class dentures'.
Given the cost of the materials, training, and equipment, the cost is justified. What is NOT justified is the fact that insurance companies can weasel out of paying for these, and even the best insurance plans in the country have $3-4K yearly maximums. This is not a cosmetic procedure if you’re a younger patient like insurance companies like to say. Implant retained solutions are medically necessary to prevent catastrophic bone loss. This needs to change now.
As I am a contractor, anytime I work on a dentist or oral surgeon house I jack up the prices. They can afford it as shown by many of these videos. Do the same people!
Maybe if you used that fuzzy thing called a toothbrush to begin with our profession wouldn’t have to rebuild your mouth! I spent over $500k in training beyond dental school to be able to build a house in people’s mouthes. It always amazes me how people become the victim and blame the doctor for their poor life choices. The lab bill alone for these prosthetics are over $4000 per arch! If you can’t afford it, then gum your food or get a crappy acrylic denture like grandpa used to have.

Hey Dr. H, what are implant-supported dentures? I am in southern California and I went to USC Dental School last year to get dentures because I don't have dental insurance I had faith that they would do a great job but it was a nightmare. So, the day I was scheduled to have the rest of my teeth removed, they wanted to remove the remaining teeth top and bottom and again with only local anesthesia, and thank God I said no. They wanted to remove the remaining teeth ( I already had the molars etc removed there ) in the morning and put temporary dentures in my mouth in the afternoon. They removed the top teeth and sent me upstairs where the professor shoved an upper denture into my bleeding gums. I was supposed to keep them in overnight but I took them out in the car on the way home and never put them back in because the degree of overbite was miserable I no longer trusted the school and I have been without top teeth now for a year in January. Dental offices call insistently acting like used car salesmen and it's a terrifying that has kept me from doing anything at. It will be a year in January that I have had no teeth at all on the top I still have several of the teeth on the bottom have that are strong and I'm wondering if I can save those with a bridge instead of doing all on four? Thank you 🤗

I'm pretty sure if people can afford it they'll do it..I'm trying to do snap on but my insurance don't covers for a full mouth so I'm gonna do lower first and make next year do the top!!!..God willing!!
Please help. I don’t have much bone in my mouth, I can only get three implants on the bottom arch and five on the top, so a snap on denture is my only solution for my bottom arch. However since I can get five implants on the top I wanted a zirconia hybrid but my dentist is telling me the weight from the prosthesis will be too much and overtime put strain on the implants. Is he correct or are five implants enough to support the top arch zirconia prosthesis? Thank you!
The weight of zirconia should not cause problems with implants. As long as you adhere to the soft diet until all implants have healed to the bone. My patients have never said they notice the heaviness. I recommend the 4 implants to more. Due to maintenance for the patient. It all depends on what the CT scan shows me. How dense is your bone and how much bone loss there is. I would love to meet you and answer all of your questions. Call my office for a consultation. 8019901703.

Now he asked me to take all my teeth out if not it will infect it again if he try to save the top implant. Cost me a lot of money already when he did the first time. Now he tried to save the 3 implants and add another one in going to be 4 implants. Maybe they called all on 4 . And I can do the bottom teeth too much money already. They should be able to correct that with your permanent tooth. It really depends on what your treatment was planned. Congratulations my friend. I’m happy for you. It will be the best decision you’ve ever made.
Oh yes the four month wait. I had to wait to get my top implants so adding another four months, but I trust my prosthodontist when he recommends waiting
I have snap in upper dentures. They have 4 implants they snap on to. Can the dentures be changed to a permanent fixed bridge using any of the 4 implants? I’m honestly considering throwing them in the trash and getting permanent fixed bridge teeth. Help!
Hello my friend, It really depends on the location and the position of the implants placed. Sometimes they can be used, but most of the time they need to be replaced for the stability of the denture. A CT would be able to give us the infomation we need.
Thank you for your reply. I am very unhappy with my current teeth. They look ok but are rather bulky. I paid about $15 thousand dollars for the uppers alone. Really it’s my fault for not researching my choices better. I advise anyone looking to do anything like this to weigh all your options before deciding. Personally I would have paid twice as much to get a better more permanent result.
I had some bad dental work and lost 3 back teeth the the left lower side. I ended up having them pulled. I am afraid to keep going on without teeth. Is there any hope for a repair? This was a bridge that the dentist screwed up. 😔
I don’t want to sound stupid but is there anything I can do to stop bone loss before I get into a dentist for this procedure? I know the best thing is to get into the dentist asap 😊
Hi, my name is Tony I wrote you once before first off I think you're amazing... but I was told for my dentist that I needed a sinus lift and bone grafting. I'm trying to find out if I can go with the all on 4. instead of the bone, grafting and sinus lift.
It’s a highly customized prosthetic to replace a human body part. Additionally it’s created and designed to fit only one person with hopes that it will last forever. So few dentists want to even take this sort of thing on. For those who do, they are taking on a very challenging endeavor. Some cases are extremely hard and should pay mor. Some cases are rather strait forward and should pay less. Unfortunately we often don’t know which ones they are until it’s obvious. I wish I could always know the easy ones so I could give a better deal.
There is a lot of time and material that go into making a customized device. For a Dr. like me that does the surgery, designs the teeth and makes the device, there is a lot of care and expertise that goes into the process.
yes, and Dr, you deserve to be paid for it. the real issue is that Dental health coverage should be covered under medical insurance. Your dental health is as important as your overall physical health. Oh well, dream on, I guess. It does deserve the same consideration.@@implantsecrets
Your the best my experience so far is not very good went for surgery on 10-25-22 procedure was about 5 hours like you said. I was told my sutures would come out on their own in 7-10 days its been 3 weeks I go to see the dentist tomorrow 11-18-22 my gums still hurt my tongue is a brown color I have a bad taste in my mouth I do have my temporary denture on my lower it is screwed in but it doesn't feel right it hurts my tongue. Im gonna hope for the best at this point
I couldn't say why. The zirconia are a little heavier then the other types, but patients say they don't feel the difference in the mouth. They are also the strongest material for the dentures. Very unusual for them to break.
Yes u can generally they find spots in jaw bone to put the implants in. Cost 💲 varies the one’s Im getting are $45,000. Would of been $50k but they gave me $5k discount since paid in full.
Yes you can, depending on what you eat, sometimes they will rock while you bite down. You will need to have them relined periodically so they fit your properly.
@@brianmck7363 Snap in dentures are a better option than the traditional dentures for those who can't do the all on 4. Remember with snap in you have the on going cost of re-lines and inserts. If this is the option you choose. Make sure the dentist uses 4 implants on top and 4 on bottom so the denture doesn't rock when you chew. Also when I used to offer them, I placed the implants that could be easily converted to the fixed "all on 4". A lot of my patients ended up upgrading to the all on 4 after a while. As far as cost you would be looking at anywhere from 25,000 up to 40,000 for both upper and lower arch. Thanks for watching Brian!
But…. Couldn’t you just have posterior implants placed for a snap on, in case you change your mind years later. I like the idea of being to take them out to really clean my gums
Yes, but let me explain, that with the all on 4, you need to have your maintenance and cleaning every 4-6 months where they not only clean but they check the screw, heath of implants, bone loss, and gum health. The dentist will take the teeth out if needed. If the patient is doing good hygiene, hey may not have to take them out. It is at this appt where your dentisit will see if there is any problems that are in the beginning stages. Although it is true that you are not able to take the teeth out yourself, when you want, it is the most natural feeling. As well as the bite force for eating is better. You can start with snap in providing your surgeon places the implants in the proper place and position for the All on 4, I have done this for a lot of my paitents. If the implants are not placed right, You would need to have all new implants. I hope this helps. Thanks for your questions and for watching.

I have a question. Have you worked with Jehovah’s Witnesses before and do you have alternatives to the platelet rich fibrin since that is a blood product that could be prohibited in some faiths? Thank you so much for all of your very helpful videos!
I been beat around by these local dentists. My first time at the dentist I said I would like implants, he tells me to go to affordable dentures and have my teeth pulled than come back 4 months later. When I went back 4 months later by now I had faciL collapse and he again is telling me to go elsewhere. Don't understand. So I go to dental implants and they totally lied to me, they told me that I would have the surgery 4 implants and the next day I was to come back for a temporary set . I than find out the temporary set which is made from resin/ acrylic is actually my permanent set till I upgrade to Zirconia. Misleading at its best. You are so straight forward and honest, it would be an honor, but unfortunately I'm working with limited funds thank you, keep doing what you do. God bless
The problem with the 3 on 6 or bridges is they look like FALSE TEETH. Because they are made from one solid mass. The all on four are INDIVIDUAL TEETH placed in pink plastic, so they look like teeth. Just my opinion.
The 3 on 6 is 3 bridges on one arch, connected with 2 implants each . The all on 4 is one arch that are connected with 4 or more implants. Depending on the material that is used. I believe the kind you are describing would be the acrylic based with teeth set in them. I use the monolithic which it is all one piece in zirconia material, (strongest material, and you wouldn't have to worry about teeth popping out. The gums and the appearance of individual teeth are done by a professional artist that is able to individualize a custom look for the patient. The choice between all-on-fours and three-on-six implants should be driven by clinical evaluation, not personal preference. Be sure and do your research. It is a big investment. Thanks for watching Sandy,

I like the Zest protocol and products. For me avoiding Peri-implantitis is most important. I'm in the process of upper Max evaluation but being able to clean and proper made full bridge prosthesis is imperative to avoid Peri-implantitis which is fairly common from stupid dentists and a bad designed bridge 4 on 4 don't let them cut your bone away.
These require surgery for placement. People like myself who don’t have the money for them. Get regular removable denture like I will get next week. I just don’t complain about the way you do.

@@mikemitchell5771 does that include the surgery to place implants?
@@mylife4290 Yes it does 😍😍😍
DR. H is the best period!! I will never regret spending 50k on my smile
@@mikemitchell5771 I was wondering. I've already had the surgery, but not found a good prosthodontist in my location.
Why would anyone want snap in dentures if you need to have implants why not have get them fixed ?....Am i missing something here ?
Cost is higher, implant selection and type of material that is used is different.
Is it possible to change from snap in to all on four using existing implants?
if the implants are put in with the idea, possible upgrading, yes. It really depends on where the implants were placed.
Hang in there! It will be worth it! Thanks for watching!
Which are best for heavy bruxism?
Definatley the zirconia all on 4 because it is all one piece and of strongest material, as well as teeth won't break off.
Why is my dentist even though I asked for zirconia bridges he say no its to heavy and will break
I couldn't say why. The zirconia are a little heavier then the other types, but patients say they don't feel the difference in the mouth. They are also the strongest material for the dentures. Very unusual for them to break.
can you get all in 4 if you have a lot of bone loss? & how much on average is the cost ?
Yes u can generally they find spots in jaw bone to put the implants in. Cost 💲 varies the one’s Im getting are $45,000. Would of been $50k but they gave me $5k discount since paid in full.
Can a snap in use ceramic implants instead of titanium?
I would have to check on that. I know we can order zirconia implants, but I am not sure about using them for snap in.
Two questions can you eat with snap on dentures? And how much for up and down snap on dentures?? Please
Yes you can, depending on what you eat, sometimes they will rock while you bite down. You will need to have them relined periodically so they fit your properly.
@@implantsecrets Are these snap ons something you recommend?? How much approximately????? Ty so much for a quick reply!!!
Do you do patients from the uk?
We have several patients out of the US. If you think its an option for you, we can start with a virtual consultation. Send me an email so I can respond with the next steps to consultation@dreamdentalimplants.com
Is there a tea, coffee, wine stain-removing product that can be put in the mouth and that will not harm the acrylic white of All-On-Fours?
That is the main reason I am avoiding All-On-Fours.
The zirconia device will not stain. The only discoloration that could happen it the build up of plak from poor hygiene. (The plak can stain)

I'm in Florida
God bless
@@playoutthebox 80% of our patients are from out of state if that is an option for you,
@@implantsecrets Truthfully I honestly wish it was .
Where are you located?

I got most of my teeth pulled when I was 15 and it made my life hell, I told the dentist that pulled my teeth I wanted to get implants in the future. He laughed and said "you'll never be able to afford implants they are 30 grand so give up that dream". I'm 26 now and finally getting a full mouth snap in and I told my dentist before hand that I want to upgrade to a fully fixed in the future , incase it changes where/how she places the implants, she said it can be done but she may have to do more grafting. I'm paying already paying $24k because I need sinus lifts. I hope the process of upgrading isn't another 20k lol
Ive just had sinus lifts...gna ask my dentist about this option ...

Agreed 👍
Full of it !!!!
Not everyone wants to fish floss between the dentures and gum and much rather have the ability to take dentures out and rinse them.
I agree! I like to educate patients on all the options that are out there so they can make the best choices for themselves. Thanks for watching!
Dentists should be jailed for these absurd prices
These require surgery for placement. People like myself who don’t have the money for them. Get regular removable denture like I will get next week. I just don’t complain about the way you do.

In the USA we are not getting something that cost more then our houses.... if only it cost similar to other countries...
I don’t own house my removable dentures online our $400. My rent is $850 per month. So a lot less.
