I'm the RICHEST I've ever been... Here's why!

  • I'm the RICHEST I've ever been! In this video, I explain how I managed to get here. We often get caught up in the vicious cycle of wanting the next best vehicle... wanting the new 2024 Toyota TRD Pro, the new Land Cruiser, new car, new bigger house. It's a constant rat race that keeps us wanting more and more. But is that truly happiness? Is that truly "success"... I don't think it is anymore. I've done a poor job at this throughout my adult life but the more I learn, the more I've figured out what really makes me feel rich. My family. Having time to spend with them is what I value most now. Being rich is about having the freedom to what you want with your time. And for me, that's not missing a single soccer game, cheer event, wrestling match, etc... I want my family to know their dad was present and active in their lives growing up. Not chasing the mighty dollar. Don't let money and THINGS rule your world. That's not happiness. Materialistic things will only leave you feeling enthused and empty.
Let me know your thoughts. What makes you RICH? Thanks for watching as always, if you enjoy this type of content, please let me know... I appreciate your support of the channel, thank you!
    -Stay Untamed...

Great video!!! I have been debt free (other than my house) for about 6 years now, but 3 months ago I bought myself a 24 GMC 1500 AT4X, and now I have a car payment, which sucks, and to tell you the truth I did not missed that car payment on all those years a single bit... BUT, since I do have money invested to payoff the truck many times over Im not that worry, it was good to see that new shiny truck did not make me more happy, in fact I realized that will be the LAST brand new car I will probably ever buy, so I will take good care of it, but more important I will take care my family and downsize house as well when the time comes, less is definitely more.
Thank you for your video and great reminder about what is important in life.

German SOF (res), living the dream in the States. When we arrived here some 6 years ago, we where struck by how easy life is here compared to anywhere else we lived. I think many people do drugs because life it too easy here. The next thing we realised is how everybody here lives beyond their means. I have never owed any bank a cent and never will. I don't have the money, I don't want it. Untamed, become a prof. My wife and I are: it is an extremely well paid hobby. Brother, it warms my heart that you have found the meaning of true happiness. The kids and Mrs. Untamed are all that counts at the end of the day. It is refreshing to hear a man of your accomplishments and intelligence come to grips with this profound truth at such a young age. As a Boomer I was retired before I reach this stage of enlightenment. Enjoy life and suck in all that makes it “real”….the vehicles and the houses are just rewards, not goals or proof of success. We need more people thinking like this. Material achievement is good, but attachment to temporary "things" makes us unhappy. It creates the self-licking ice cream cone of chasing money that many of us, including me, can fall into. The more we take stock of the good things in our life, the less attachment we have to the temporary and the more fulfilling of a life we can live.

I hit late 30s and said forget the rat race, I just don't care. I own 3 cars, 2 motorcycles and my small private plane. All paid off. I used to love having the newer cars as well but new cars are just lame anymore, nothing nice. We cruise a ton and I thought we were doing good until I ran into some retired people doing 15 to 20 cruises a year and asked how? They said they kept their first home, drive an 05 Accord and don't buy things they don't need. They retired in their 50s and are just on the last minute list for cruise lines. He told me, just stop trying to get the next new thing, your current home and car is fine, have them paid off and cruise life away! It's materialistic. We only owe a few years left on our home at the rate we are paying extra and if we do decide to leave this area, we will buy something around the same price we sell this one for. Staying out of debt. My wife is a doctor and she spends her entire weekends now doing computer work to catch up. I said enough of this, let's pay off the home and have you cut back each day, less pay but you will be home! Good luck buddy.

this is a great video. I was just thinking about how much of a flex driving my CRV that’s paid off and my 2012 Audi S4 that’s paid off how big of a flex that is. But I keep looking at Trd pro forerunners and the new land cruiser, wondering if I’m gonna buy one. And it’s truly not important.

Very good, honest video. Refreshing in this day and age. I too am so guilty of working hard for the next best things. I’m finally ready to downsize, keep my paid off 2018 Lexus RX350 for the next 10 years, and down size my house, clean out closets, and sell things I don’t need. I appreciate your videos, particularly your honest and integrity.

Now that I moved to the country with my family I don’t feel the need to have all the crazy expensive wants. I love it to still need a little more time to get debt free but working getting closer everyday

You made the right decision my friend... It is so satisfying and immensely gratifying when you have less loans and payments to make every month. Once you have your cars paid off, it's a huge burden off your budget, regardless of how newer or older your vehicle is, especially during these times of Bidenflation and Bidenomics...

Best video you have ever made. I work a 4 day work week and make less to be home with my children and I have never been more happy in my whole life. I watch your videos because I like trucks and want a truck but I just won't buy one and put myself in debt because of my children. They just don't make you happy. God and family are the 2 most wonderful things and most satisfying things in this world.

@@UntamedMotors don’t NEED one but I’m just wondering if I should sell now VS wait a couple months and possibly get significantly less due to a market crash. Only reason I’m considering waiting is because I’ll have to dish out around $1700 to sell it to Carvana who has offered the most so yeah sell now and dish out $1700 or wait a few payments and risk getting significantly less due to the inevitable market crash? 🤔

Enjoy the time with the kiddos, and I can relate to things you are saying. I have three kids and a puppy and I used to work 80 hours a week. Now, I only work 40 hours per week for 8 months in the year, and because I have a kid in college, during the tax season, i still put 60 to 80 hours to cover his tuition and dorm expenses. As soon as he graduates, I am back to normalcy, one more year.

Keep the vehicles you have and pay off all your debts. A new vehicle is not that important just take care of what you have and pay yourself first.
