So beautiful how BTS hidden tracks, like “Sea” and now Jimin’s “The Letter”, are mainly written just for army. Jimin not only is the one playing guitar, but JK in the last couple of verses can be hear harmonizing with Jimin in the background. Also on the Cd, it amazingly starts at exactly 6:13 minutes which is when BTS debuted, (June 13 2013). It’s like a more personal private message by way of song, meant mainly for army. I mean only army would get the word out about this so heartwarming, so beautiful song. Though anyone who actually listens to the physical Ep will get the wondrous, ever delightful surprise when discovering this song as well. Also more and more are talking about it so ppl other then army are now hearing about this hidden gem as well! This is such a pretty relaxing song. I did see where Jimin played the guitar but how much or where in the song, I don't know. I love the harmonica and it would be great if Jimin did play it. What I would love to see is Jimin and JK doing an acoustic version where they sit down together singing and playing their guitars or other instruments they play to enhance the song live.
Jimin loves the sea/beach and we can hear it in the background on the intro and end. Its like he singing while him sitting playing guitar looking at the water/waves. I cried when i heard this song. It literally came from a letter he wrote to ARMY after the dinner where they announced their break from group activities, at the suggestion of a PD. He wanted to reassure us of his love, and makes a couple references to BTS songs--the desert being an ocean (Sea) and bringing spring to winter (Spring Day). He made it a hidden track to signal that it is a gift to ARMY, and not meant to be commercial. It's these kinds of gestures that make BTS's relationship with ARMY so extraordinary. 💜 JK is also very vocal and profuse in the declaration of his love for ARMY, so it is really fitting for him to be singing backup, and an extra special gift to us too! 💜 Jimin hasn't confirmed it, but in the first teaser (or something) about his album, it showed him playing a guitar while he was working on his music.
