For MEO class 4 exam pcm 60% and 50+ in English for 10th and 12th required .? As I am Pursuing GME i have less the 60% in pcm , but in B-TECH i have score above score 70% .?
Clearing class 4 has no outcome on your employment. People with class 4 coc , still sailing as junior engineers. Knowledge skill is not developed by merely clearing exams
@@AlexBarcey you really think MEO class 4 tests your knowledge? It's a mcq , and students clearing these exams fail miserably practically. Not all , For sure there are outliers in every case, but clearing an exam and being good at your job are two different things.
Talking about the oral exams, yes they do test your knowledge, not in-depth but yes. Written exams as I spoke in the video they are damn predictable. Now you can argue on this to but this is what it is.
@@AlexBarcey you havent understood the essence of the argument. A class 4 license holder wouldnt even qualify for a CAT CET exam. Orals are more driven by luck, examiners moods than actual technical know how. Why is it then, that there are so many 4th engineers unemployed or working at lower ranks? If a market is overflooded, it indicates the exams so easy almost everyone passes it.
@@Omnamahshivay8079 Indeed this is true. I cannot agree more. I do feel that these exams are easy and more hyped. Market right now is flooded but this is due to colleges which are just trying to make more money. They need to think about the demand and then allow people to join.
Clearing in 1st attempt is luck .....khuda meherbaan toh gadha pehelwan .....ye jo funde fek rahe sab bakwas hai .....watt lagne wali hogi toh even if you know most of things you will fail

Both of them sailed twice. The course's requirement is to sail. For Example, great Eastern, Anglo's GME course require 8 months theory and 4 months Onboard practical experience.

Definitely it will be useful, they go through basics and the faculties are good. But in the end it depends on you.

You don't require 10th & 12th marks for Class 4 exam. Please visit Directorate General of shipping's website to check the requirements.
