This is really sad. I visited Turkey for the first time in 2018 and was amazed with their love for Pakistanis as they would call us Brother Country everywhere then I went there for second time in 2022 and everything was changed. They don't respect us now the way they used to majorly because of the Dunki people staying ( Before trying to go into Greece ) and illegally working and being involved in crimes in Istanbul. Even Pakistani Perverts was trending on Twitter in Turkey those days. I hope we respect people and their culture like we expect them to respect ours.

As for "Missing back home" - this is so accurate what the guy said. I moved to the UK last year and I faced similar challenges. You have to give something up to get something. If you stay in your comfort zone and only hangout with your people, then you won't be able to get out and connect with others. The biggest problem is that we come here with lots of unrealistic expectations and when they don't get fulfilled we feel disheartened.
I know it's easier said than done but try and don't have expectations, question your thinking. Next thing which I often do is join groups and events via Meetup apps. I get to know many people and became friends with a few as well and most of them are either European or British. I still don't hang out with them as bros in Pakistan though 😆
Just try and not have expectations like Junaid bhai said.

I guess before applying for a visa of any country it should be made compulsory to attend such events organised on national level by the Pakistani government who can tell that you will be expecting these cultural shocks in the specific country you are applying and you should respect that. If people don't attend these events and clear out a test at the end declare them unfit to visit foreign countries because each and everyone of us who visits or lives abroad is an ambassador of our country. If you don't respect other nationalities and their culture then we as a whole nation get blamed by them and this is one of the reasons why we have 4th worst passport in the world. My money is my money because I am not obligated to spend it on him, kids, or our home, but out of my own free will, I will spend it on my family because I want to and out of support. Because of this we can live a comfortable life together. I don’t think it’s unfair or unethical, but I do think it’s just childish when women say it! Also, God forbid, tomorrow when my husband is no longer there, I would have that money to support my kids rather than begging from brothers who have their own families to support or from government! It's sad to see Pakistan's reputation getting damaged in Turkey as a Turk who studied in İstanbul with Pakistani brothers and love them. I am not even religious or something. It is mainly because I know Pakistani people and our history together as nations. In my opinion the main reason is that Turkey's going through a hard time right now with so many refugees from Syria and Afghanistan also with a major economic crisis. So people tend to be more protective and more fragile against any problems that they generalize without thinking. Most of the people actually know that those pervs and criminals have nothing to do with Pakistan. There are bad apples in any nation. Our anger is not towards Pakistani's but to our government and their policies. We just can't show it properly because we are tired and fed up. They have been taking many refugees from Syria and surrounding countries without control and without a system to atleast overcome some of the cultural differences. There are also political reasons, many Pakistani's love Erdoğan but only half of Turkey supports him. I've seen some Pakistani's cursing those who does not support Erdoğan.

No. All of the smear campaign against Pakistan is the work of hyper-secular hyper-nationalist anti-Erdogan political groups in Turkey with political agendas to push. 99% of Pakistanis who come to Turkey behave perfectly decently and stay well within Turkish society's standards of decency before they return to Pakistan, but the Turkish people were never shown videos of those Pakistanis because those could not be twisted and weaponized for the purposes of domestic politics. The Turkish government, media and society have the responsibility to curb such forces who would upend centuries of Turkey's brotherly relations with Pakistan for the sake of short-term short-sighted domestic political ambitions by a reckless and irresponsible bunch of racists. But unfortunately, most of Turkey's population uncritically believed their propaganda against Pakistanis.

    *What's origin of Pakistani?*
Most Pakistanis were the original residents of the land on the banks of Indus and other rivers and were followers of Indus valley civilisation. At the time of invasions from Arabs and Turks, they fought against invaders but lost the wars. As a result, there were large scale conversions to Islam. A mixed race of Aryans, who lost the war and victor Arabs and Turks, was borne out of marriage between local ladies and invaders.
If a DNA is ever done, the residents of Pakistan would be found with the same genes as Hindus of north Indian states.

Indians mistakenly believe this would be an earth-shattering revelation to most Pakistanis. It won't. We don't believe in Islam because we think the Arabs or Turks are our generic ancestors. We believe in it because we are convinced it's the true religion. "Hindu" is a geographical identity much more than a religious one, so Indian Hindus erroneously assume the Arabs and Turks are Islam's Brahmins and we Pakistanis are their lower caste slaves and to avoid the embarrassment of being slaves we insist we are their generic descendants. But we Pakistani Muslims have no such believe. In his last sermon, the Prophet Muhammad PBUH made it clear that "no Arab has supremacy over a non-Arab, and no non-Arab has supremacy over an Arab; all humans are equal except in faith, piety and righteousness."

Regarding the gentleman who was demanding the right to vote - as long as he has Pak passport, he can vote. But he can do so by traveling to his constituency. That same requirement is true for Pakistanis who live in Pakistan isn’t it? If your constituency is in Lahore but on voting day you are in Karachi, can you vote? You have already rebutted them point about linking remittances to remote voting. Would like to add that Indians sent $112 billion in remittances but India does not give dual citizenship.

Literally every country in the world grants its overseas citizens the right to vote. They can just go to their embassy or consulates in their host countries and cast their votes there. Only some Pakistanis have this weird belief that they should be able to cast their votes only by coming to their constituency.

    • @junaidaslam5250

And one more thing: let's be absolutely honest: the ONLY reason overseas Pakistanis are being barred from voting is that the majority of them will vote for Imran Khan. 3. They think we live in Ertuğrul Era. Turkish did biggest mistake to show Ertuğrul drama on Desi Tv.
    4. Unhygiene
    5. They try to be most islamic ppl around globe and try to impose their idealogy. Turkey is not saudia arabia.
    6. If you come to turkey try to adopt their culture not to bring desi culture.

What you've said is not wrong, but it's only half of the story. Millions of Pakistanis live all over America, Europe, Canada, Australia, etc. so they would presumably behave in the same way everywhere and elicit the same outrage and hate everywhere. But in reality, only Turkey has had such a firestorm of rage at Pakistanis because it's been actively fanned by Turkey's domestic hyper-secular hyper-nationalist anti-Erdogan anti-Islam political forces as a temporary election-winning gimmick. Besides, Pakistanis have been traveling to Turkey for decades and have presumably always behaved the same way there, but this newfound Pakistan-bashing in Turkey started only in 2021-2022 so it's not like Pakistani behavior suddenly changed in those years in a way that would warrant this hate campaign. The storm of anti-Pakistan hate in Turkey has nothing to do with the behavior of Pakistanis and everything to do with Turkey's domestic politics and presidential elections.

In no other country has such a massive nationwide smear campaign against Pakistanis on account of women's dressing taken place. Now as an Indian, you should go worry about the million problems in your own country instead of trolling Pakistani spaces on social media. In a random short of Pakistan drama of any actor, the ongoing conversation between actor & actress.
    Actress:- mera dil nhi ,
    Somnath ka mandir
    Hai jo 17 bar hamla
    Karoge.
Actor :- Ha, aur 17 ve bar m
    Sarey buth tutenge,
    Mera to nam bhi
    Butsakin hai.
This shows mentality of educated people. I just want to say that Somnath was destroyed 17 times but it's is still standing, Bharat k 10 most richest temples m include kiya gaya hai. Please try once more we will rebuild it.😂😂😂😂😂

Doesnt matter if you are overseas you have a right of vote if you are citizen, as Canadian if i am not in the country i have option to vote via mail, they only open voting prior to election for 1 week for overseas Canadian just to vote. Whoever against overseas voting in pakistan are either from corrupted parties which they know they wont get vote for although which they dont know due to conditions they made in pakistan they dont have voter in pakistan either.

@@talwarud nosy? Thats called being aware of people/nations around you and having the interest to learn about them. And yes i have also met hundreds of pakistanis in dubai, thailand, US and all of them have same views that they are ancestors of turks/arabs and they have nothing to do with their hindu history and culture. Their delusions are unparalleled. Thats why pakistanis who live abroad also could not manage to create that positive impact, influence as a diaspora. A nation with national level identity crisis can never prosper.

Ah yes, who better than an Indian to barge into a Pakistani space and tell Pakistanis what to do! India is clearly no longer the world's biggest hotbed of hunger, poverty, open defecation, rape, honor killings and rampant religious extremism, so they are obviously qualified to give sanctimonious sermons to Pakistanis! And they're totally not being nosy when they do that!
