The use of AI in game development is incredible! SmythOS is excellent for coordinating multi-agent AI systems. I'm excited to watch how it affects gaming in 2024! #AI #GameDev
"Bearer of the curse, seek misery, for misery will lead you to greater strength" is a qoute from dark souls. Don't become dependent on AI, it will hold you back. Go through the hardship of learning the skills you need for gamedev, and learn to enjoy the misery, for it will take you the greater heights.
Ouuhhh, I like this! I totally agree, you should still go through the proper learning process, but I think it's important to learn how to use these new tools (aka AI) to make yourself more efficient 😉
@@SloydAI Yeah but you won't ever know if it's holding you back until you are at the appropriate vantage point. If you are already highly skilled and efficient at the tasks then you can evaluate whether AI speeds you up or slows you down. But if you are a beginner, it will make you feel like you're more efficient, but you may actually not be, because you will inherently have a bias due to lack of knowledge and experience. Also AI has been shown in studies (can't source this from memory) to be a worse teacher, since you learn best when you struggle at a task. So using AI as a tool only makes sense if you have already mastered what you do and you want an edge. At least that's how I see it.
You have commercial rights to use them yes! 😁 Only with the free plan, you need to attribute us. And btw we don't do creatures 😭 Hard surface objects mostly!
1:50 I was thinking the same thing but wouldn't using ai for voice acting cause problem in the future? I don't want to get sued by celebrities or other studios. Is that really okay to use AI for voice acting?
Well as long as you make sure that all the training data was only from people that gave their permission your safe, I'm pretty sure elevenlabs is safe, however be aware that steams tos is on Ai produced stuff is quite unclear at this point in time
Great video! I wish there was something like this for 2D. From what I've managed to find - it's still far from good and you still need to do a lot by hand
It would be horrible@@SloydAI, I feel like without HUMAN designer in the loop all we get it meaningless AI garbage. Automating the mundane and using AI for inspiration / exploration is fine by me, though.
How long before a team of 12 people can create a shooter at the quality level of Doom 2016 within 1-2 years with the help of AI?
That's a very specific question 😂
But only time will tell
There are groups that get pretty close already
That’s the only doom I’ve ever played and it was really fun
It is already happening.
They probably did it with AI
I'm Happy for finding another good Channel that gives Really good information🔥
Glad the videos are helpful 🙏

0:33 Relatable

Great editing to show the power of the voice editing that was cool

Do you think it will ever be possible to use AI to remake old games? Like ask AI to remake Socom 2 with 2024 graphics?
Probably, but it will take another 10 years at the very least before ai is able to make stuff like that
that will help a lot, thanks!
My pleasure! 👍
im start making a game with my friends in discord can u give me advice?
Great video! I use AI all the time and I learned some new things from your video.
Glad to hear that :D
But how us it wirh copyrights? If i fir example generate a model of a monster (common enemy) do i have the rights using it?

How you did intro cover image? Which Ai tool and which prompt? Thanks
Chatgpt (dalle 3) but I don't remember the prompt, sorry 🙏
Bro im not here to know about ai for game development but i want to know how you made this thumbnail, its mind blowing, just fantastic .
Chatgpt made it for me hahaha
Thanks for responding to me! Please I want to ask if these ai generated images are copyright free images. Hoping response from your side.@@SloydAI
Really useful, thank you!
What about taking your drawing of a sprite character and have AI clean it up, color it, and design a sprite sheet?
I don't think we are there yet but pretty close! Chatgpt can already do kinda similar stuff, but it's far from usable
I have a magnificent game but I need some developer’s to help and I need crowd funding, I think I created the best blockchain game ever

Have you tried scénario yet ?
Great video!
Thanks!

That was most def me 🤣
i wanted things i may use not things you use

Hahaha, that would be great but also horrible! 😂
