I've told myself that I would be done for quite some time now but my collection has only grown loool I am a lot more selective nowadays so a lot of times when the group buy is actually live, I'm able to control myself and hold off on the purchase.
the render on that kyubi post using a clearly AI-generated fake "newspaper" is wild, great catch!... besides the printed story just being text taken directly from an orchid-related wiki, the majority of the other words are gibberish. You even see "NAWS" and "NWES" where it should probably say "NEWS" - a super common AI image generation mistake
Thanks! Idk why the NAWS didn't register in my brain and I was trying to find some news organization that went by that name lmao It's not necessarily definitive proof that they're trying to rug pull here, but it's definitely not a good look considering the context. I'm prob just gonna keep my eyes on the project and see how it goes.
I appreciate the work you put into creating these. Use it to stay informed on what GB are what. I honestly don't really trust keyboard channels too much
welllll i just ordered the zan/trashbin40 "in-stock" from them, so tbd. Hopefully it's just gb issues (like problems with manu or something) versus bad business in general
been waiting for the reverie for a while. the limited colors are nice, but dont match my setup. guess thats a win for me since ill be spending less lol
The Dune65 is a gorgeous looking keyboard and I'm super tempted but I have a ton of 65% boards already 🥲 Based on what I found regarding the Kyubi, looks like fulfillment has been an issue with the China GB which might be related to qc issues? I don't think people have gotten their boards yet, so mainly a reason provided for delays (I think).
A lot of recklessness and lack of business experience would be my guess lol During the pandemic, the hype was insane and a bunch of vendors popped up. Now that it's died down and the money isn't the same, the businesses that were shaky are starting to fail.
when was the IC out for kono? your screenshot says 3 days ago and this vid is up 4 hrs ago, but upon searching reddit seems this was yrs ago? it sounds somewhat familiar so i was wondering if there was some actual recent update?
Hi! I joined the discord to look at commentary. I can't speak for the screenshots from reddit, but recent conversation on the discord confirms that Kono has ghosted.
Hey! Sorry for the late reply, here's the link to the IC post that I saw: www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/1fgc281/ic_classaction_lawsuit_against_kono_store/ Still no activity on the post itself, but it's been well known for a while now that Kono has been ghosting customers
why are these keyboards so damn thick? i dont want to use a wrist rest. ridiculous - also the 1800 is the best format for keyboard layout with a full 0 pad (theres a few out there)
I think technically your supposed to hover your wrists when you type for better ergonomics (don't quote me on that), but I do use a wrist rest myself. 1800 layouts are quite rare cause I don't think they're as popular. I think the Zoom98 was the last one that I remember seeing.

I’m a geologist and every time I think I’m done buying keyboards a new and even better geology themed keyboard comes out. Ugh.
I've told myself that I would be done for quite some time now but my collection has only grown loool

Love your videos
Thank you 😊

Thanks for watching 🙂
A shame that modern materials didn’t get a norde kit for r2. I would have hoped that at least the more popular base would have gotten one
Yeahhh not sure about the sales figures, but I assume the numbers probably didn't work out?
I didn't even think of the Nintendo thing. They protect their IP's like a mama bear lmao.
yup loool They're probably fine? I hope?
@@kirin_ as long as no one snitches lol
GMK Cosmos as well
For sure! I think I added that in the last video since it started on 9/15
bowl keyboard’s pangea is a really cool gb going on rn!
Thanks for the catch! I'll add it to the community post
There is also the Luminkey 60LX!
Appreciate it! I'll add it to the community post
Nlandkeys seems pretty shady
y
yeahhh I'll leave it to folks to make their own final judgement, but I'm not confident in them rn

hahaha if definitely helps to be more selective
Man the Dune65 is a cool keyboard. Kyubi seems interesting but weren't they having fulfillment and qc issues? Thanks as always.

how are there that many vendors and businesses causing trouble over the span of these years man😭😭😭
A lot of recklessness and lack of business experience would be my guess lol

Thanks for sharing the info on KONO. Please let us know if there’s any updates on a potential class action lawsuit towards them.
Definitely! I'll keep my eyes peeled
