My doctor diagnosed me with type two diabetes in 2014. I’ve been relying on medication but my diabetes gradually got worse even with maximum doses. In 2023 she said I’m going to need insulin injections. I asked her: “If I am insulin resistant, why would I need to inject more of it?” She asked: “Who told you that you are insulin resistant? I said “Isn’t that the definition of type two diabetes?” She got a little upset that I was refusing insulin injections. I went carnivore and in three months my A1C went from 13 to 7. Researching freed me from the prescription drug trap.
Research and critical thinking instead of blindly believing the white coats will save you money and suffering. My husband tells his MD that his wife is a Google doctor. I tell people my husband is a TH-cam engineer. 😂
My Dentist told me my teeth are excellent and to keep up the Carnivore way of eating. It's working, no build up, easy cleaning. My dental tech actually used me in a study for the benefits of CARNIVORE and not eating carbs and sugar. That was 2 days ago.
I found a more holistic approached dentist who recommends Weston a price type of diet and the hygienist is actually carnivore, I found this out when she mentioned how clean my teeth are and I told her that's bc I pretty much only eat animal products. :)
Sounds promising! Working in a professional field I have come to realize that many people hold a position, whether doctor or engineer or others, just because they have completed a predetermined process to do so. They don't hold any "divine" information about their area nor are they infallible. We should all use our reason and demand logical arguments and facts. If those cannot be given, you can safely assume the person speaking is doing so out of learned statements, not careful consideration.
That’s awesome! We need to influence mire doctors toward carnivore. Dr. Chaffee needs to group with Dr. Berry and Dr. Baker to open an online med school for new med students, and offer training for current doctors with nutrition and health info.
I’ve been carnivore for 9 months now. Psoriasis and eczema gone. Candida overgrowth gone. Hair is thicker. Skin is clear and glowing. I have more energy and sleep so much better. Anxiety is gone. I’m 33 and this is the best I have felt in my whole adult life. I’m 5’6 and 145lbs. I’m very happy with my body. When I ate a plant heavy diet I was 180lbs, so many skin problems and losing my hair and crippling anxiety and insomnia. Carnivore changed my life.
Ok all, I saw my neurosurgeon yesterday to go over my latest MRI's of the brain, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar areas and it's official... My Chiari Malformation Type I is gone!!!! The doc is completely confused and stumped. My Syrinxes are also changing and are no longer single units but now breaking down into smaller ones. I also had multiple discs that were flat and there is no longer any evidence of that. I also had three bulging discs in my thoracic area, no it's only one and is slight. I cried such tears of joy! My Lyme disease is also improving and I want to get tested in six months and see if it still comes up positive. My Neuro called me a "medical phenomenon"❤❤❤❤❤❤
I eat fatty beef that is 20-25% fat, includes Angus burger, steak, roasts, ribs fives times per week and two dinners of either chicken with skin cooked in butter, turkey the same way, or uncured ham and uncured bacon with egg yolks. I drink Tazo tea with milk, water, and lemon water. I also eat small amounts of cheese. I'm still working on getting off coca cola, down to two a day (used to drink 6 or 7) but no other carbs or sugar.
Fantastic. It’s a brave soul who stands up to the HUGE companies like sanitarium who fund the medical research. Doctors are petrified to speak up. This makes Dr Chaffee a HERO. ❤️🇦🇺
I've moved towards eating the way Dr Chaffee eats - just fatty meat, mainly steak, with some salt and water, and I've never felt better in all my 48 years. 30kg down, autoimmune disease managed and 5 months alcohol free after many years with addiction. This is a game changer.
I’m THRILLED for you and especially with being able to give up the alcohol. Please don’t ever allow it back even for a day. My brother stayed sober for two years but let it slip in one day thinking he’d be fine, but it got him addicted again and we lost him at 42, so just don’t ever let it sneak back in!! Keep it up!! ❤❤🎉🎉
Here's some information on allergies. Many plants are histamine liberators and histamine dumpers. The most common and notorious culprits in the allergy game are nightshades. Most people associate nightshades with the most toxic and deadly Atropa Belladonna, but potatoes, tomatoes, and any pepper(hot or mild) are all in that same class. And these commonly consumed nightshades release Histamine and cause Histamine stores in the body to release themselves. This over saturation of histamine is what causes the allergic response. Hence why all the good allergy medicine are anti-histamines. I'd start with removing nightshades to at least see if your allergy symptoms are reduced. Plants are trying to kill you! Great Q&A Dr. Chaffee.
Yes! I think I used to over produce histamines back when I was WFPB. One example is that mosquito bites would often turn into huge, red welps and would last for weeks! Two months into carnivore, they were just consistently small, red bumps that would quickly go away and barely itch!! 🙌🏻 ❤
@@GrizzlyValleyBear amazing. I somewhat naively started first of December not realizing all the meal outings and celebratory dinners that would be in this month. Still been disciplined about it even though living from a van.

Thank you Anthony, firstly thanks for your amazing care to our son June 2022 after a serious head injury that nearly cost him his life, he is doing great. Both my wife and I always considered the carnivore diet and when we met you at RPH last year and understanding your views on this diet approach we decided to give it a go only start mid 2023 after much pondering and wow the outcomes for both of us have been outstanding, in a nutshell 😂 lol (no thanks) we are lighter, stronger, more energetic and the list goes on. Me the male… get to visit my GP next month just for a check up am looking forward to it as I am 8 kg lighter after 4 months of carnivore dieting, last time I visited my GP she scoffed at the idea of going on a carnivore diet, might somersault into her office naked with my Medicare card clinched between the cheeks of my buttocks 😂 My wife looks amazing and as she works out at the gym regularly she has benefited even more than I with our dietary change. Looking forward to continuing as seeing what we can accomplish in the next 3 months. Happy days!
Love your videos! Random thought, when you were talking about the pancreas I thought of the fact that Steve Jobs spent a certain amount of time as a fruitarian. He just survived on fruit for large periods of time. As we all know he died of pancreatic cancer. And it occurs to me further, that by being carnivore we are really helping our pancreas to provide its true function and not overtaxing it or requiring it to handle vast quantities of sugar like the standard American diet does and a fruitarian diet would. I do hope that more people get wise to what humans really have always eaten and need to eat for health. All these plant foods we've created are beautiful and tasty but they are absolutely not what we are adapted to surviving on. Or thriving on, especially. And in fact so many of them are absolute poison!!❤
@@dangermoss wonder if the fructose lows made him more cranky! I can see that having a diet that's completely based on fruit might make one a bit unstable emotionally. Although obviously he had other stuff going on too. Yeah not known for his nice guyness. True.
Perfectly said! If people are addicted to plants they should be whole food form, not generically altered, and seasonal only, and eaten like a garnish every so often. But really best not to consume plants at all. I won’t consume them.
I have a full rotator cuff tear on my left shoulder. It's the second tear on that side and the surgeon said it's non-operative. The Supraspinatus is retracted 5cm and probably not heal if he did try and reattach it. I started keto last December but switch to keto last month gradually getting rid of everything but butter, bacon, eggs and lots of Ribeye Steaks!!! I've seen an increase in both range of motion and strength on that side. I have rotator cuff disease and hope this diet will help. This is my 4th tear but the first time i have avoided surgery. Tore last January and getting better everyday!!!!! Thanks Dr. Chaffee.
I fixed 50% severed tendon in left shoulder from rotocuff and a through ingrinal hernia. Doctors said my only chance was surgery. 6 months on carnivour and all symtoms gone.
I've been on the carnivore diet for three years as of January 2024, I'm 68. I've tried intermittent fasting but get too skinny so I eat whenever I want. I eat only beef, salmon, water and this great salt you should check out, Celtic Sea Salt, better tasting than the others and this isn't an ad. There are several videos comparing this salt to others.
I live in the far North and will say that prior to carnivore no amount of vitamin D supplements worked. But high fat carnivore diet my vitamin D is high and doctors are always shocked. And I hate the cold so I don’t go out much plus it gets dark before 4pm. I’m barely in any sunlight over half the year where I’m at.
I’ve been about 90% carnivore for about 8 months. I say 90% cuz I have 2 monster mochas each day and beer on the weekends, I don’t have autoimmune issues ether though I just got sick of feeling tired all the time. I’m still trying to cut my addiction to the mochas and beer. My mom on the other hand has COPD and I had to take her to the hospital yesterday on thanksgiving and I’ve finally convinced her to start the carnivore diet so hopefully she will stick with it now.
I tell my Dr’s that I cut out all processed food, sugar & seed oils. One told me it sounds like a really limited diet. I started with a Functional Medicine Dr about the same time I started Carnivore. I was having so many food reactions, I was afraid to eat anything other than meat. She asked me 3 months in if I had gone Carnivore & when I said yes, she said she was fine with it. My regular Dr’s not so much so I don’t mention it anymore
Don’t be afraid to tell your doctors you are carnivore. That is the only way they will learn the healing power of carnivore. They need to know you are on carnivore, even if at first they do not agree. They will come around and get curious and start looking into it!
@@JennifertxCarnivore my point was more for Dr’s that aren’t open to it. It’s a better way to get around the lecture. I had a consultation with an ENT to do a salivary gland test. Yup, mind-blowing just like carnivore. I continue to heal from many issues. Thanks again for all your valuable information and time, Dr. Chaffee.

Dr. Chaffee you make it all sound so simple, I think I have to watch to not overthink this way of eating. You are just so knowledgeable and helpful bless and thank you. ❤

DR chaffee, is carnivore okay to do with levothyroixine, eliquis, and protonix? Update: i have hypothyroidism, hidtory of pe's, and an ulcer I am wondering whether these medications change my electrolyte and/or nutritional needs?

Being from the UK I really can't understand what your diet has to do with your doctor. I certainly wouldn't take dietary advice from any doctor and if my way of eating came up in conversation and they didn't agree so what.... Last time I had my cholesterol tested I made it clear I wasn't interested in any discussion about it and nothing was said. My triglycerides are rock bottom which is all that matters to me. I definitely wouldn't start eating shit food just because some nurse advised me that in order to lower my LDL I needed to cut out red meat and eat more grains or replace butter with seed oils!
I have been on carnivore for 5 months, first month or two, rapid weight loss from 134 to 122 lbs then now regained some weight to 128lbs. Is this normal? Not sure if i am gaining muscle or fat. I do work out 3 times a week regularly doing bodyweight workouts and walk 5 to 6 days a week.
Plain Water has always given me an uncomfortable belly feeling and reflux, until I started adding raw LMNT or baking soda. Bottles water still makes me feel that way, especially Aquafina or Disani.
Lately, has anyone noticed the conflicting messages we’re getting from ads on Carnivore channels? Breakfast cereal, sugary drinks, fast food, even vegan and vegetarian options, etc.? Almost seems on purpose.
The week I went carnivore/keto and started researching it, all of my discover pages on facebook, instagram, and youtube ads were for candy, baked goods, energy drinks etc. It's very much insidious big brother activity.
I got sick of TH-cam ads so I switched to a browser that doesn't let them through. I don't see any ads now, it's really good for those full length films that are free but have ads every 3 minutes.
I am so baffled by all the - apparently numerous- known toxins and carcinogens in plants. Would it be possible to make a video about just that? It would be a banger of one, to get my point across to friends and family, of just how many we are exposed to in the simplest foods.
Couldn’t handle the egg white. No prob with yolks but my eyes would swell up and water after egg white. However now on carnivore, I seem fine, can eat a whole egg no trouble. 🇦🇺

I used to work for a general/vascular/thoracic surgeon~he would ALWAYS tell his patients to eat a tablespoon of olive oil daily (he was Italian), unless they wanted him to remove their gallbladder.... This was in the 90s, when low fat was King
Hi, if I’m trying to do a high fat carnivore diet if I do 70/30 ground beef and ribeye is that high fat enough? It feels like it when I’m eating it. I can’t imagine adding more butter or oil or tallow to my meals. I typically eat twice a day. Can somebody clear this up for me please? It’s so confusing when you hear all the noise out there. That’s why I listen to Dr. Berry, Elizabeth, Brighton and Dr. Chaffey for accurate information, thanks.
For years chicken thighs were my go to meat, loved them.. I was very overweight.. 253 pounds.. I had terrible inflammation that affected my hips, feet and hands.. now and then my elbows and shoulders.. now 10 months in on the carnivore diet I had not had chicken thighs since Jan 2023.. I had two thighs and I could hardly walk the next day..my hips were killing me. 24 hours later I was back to normal.. I just can't do chicken anymore..I had similar with issues with chicken wings done in the airfryer.. only affected my hands those times.. Chicken is now completely off the menu for me. I am a 63 soon to be 64- Jan 2024 and I am now down 98 pounds just doing carnivore for 10 months, no cheats at all. Pork will prolly be the next to go.. am watching that carefully for inflammation signals... I don't have it that often but I shall watch.
That's wild. I noticed 1 year into carnivore, eating eggs and raw eggs everyday, that I can't tolerate them! (store bought that is). Also on the fence about eating chicken now.

I have lost a total of 58 lbs. The first 30 lbs with Keto over a year and a half, and the next 28 lbs on Ketovore (I drink coffee) over the last 8 months. My cholesterol and LDL levels both increased, but my HglA1c normalized and my triglycerides significantly decreased. My doctor offered me a statin, and I declined. He told me “Thin doesn’t mean healthy.” I will say that I feel lots better on Ketovore and am doing pretty good at age 65. However, Keto doesn’t cure scoliosis-related pain.
I have been researching the carnoviore diet for a few months ,I was wanting to try the diet after trying several other diets thru the years,, I started cutting back on December 1st on carbs, milk, sugar coffee, oatmeal all the foods I will have to eliminate, I didnt want to start the diet without trying to get off all the carbs and junk foods I was having daily, My start date for the carnoviore diet is jan1 , I have a concern ,I enjoy meat, like beef, chicken, pork, but I do not like fat and cut it all off of everything I eat, I don't have any issue eating lean meat and hope this isn't a issue, I have never really liked bacon because it has so much fat in it so I dont eat bacon , I am just wondering if this will be a problem just eating the lean meat since I just can't eat fat.
@andyc7747 Thanks for the reply Andy , I cut back on carbs for the 1st week and just dove in on week 2 with the carnovire diet, So far its went well, I am extremly strict, I have only had lean meat or pork chops, I have been doing 4 eggs for breakfast, 2 sausage patties and 4 straps of bacon burnt ,so the fat is edible for me, So far the sugar and carb cravings are easily tolerable and if I want sugar ,I seen Old guy carnoviore channel where he mixes his own electrolyte drink based on LNMT so ,I bought it and now mix my own drink when I feel the urge for carbs or sugars, when I check macros ,it appears My diet is about 60 percent fat and 40 protein ,I haven't had any stool issues and every thing seems normal , I would say I dont go as often as before but I don't mind that, So if everything continues in its current state ,this plan seems very doable and so far I have lost about 5 pounds in the first 2 weeks ,I am 65 , I have never been on medications and have been relatively healthy and athletic my entire life, I just want to get healthier and stay out of the doctors office other then my yearly check up that is always fine ,I have normal blood pressure and vitals so for me it's to maintaine a even healthier lifestyle and live with less risk of alsheimers or heart issues, thx

I have been listening to you for a month now. I have been vegan for 14 years my BP and cholesterol have not improved in those years but what changed me is I started to have severe muscle pain in my legs and feet. I ended up in the ER a year ago and they couldn’t figure out was wrong. Shortly after my son encouraged me to eat salmon and I started to feel better but my feet were so sore I could hardly walk on them. My wife’s dad got told he was at a high risk of having diabetes. So after the doctor told him how to eat, he eats a lot less meat and mostly carbs. And he got these pills every single day. Seems weird he would need the medication if his diet change was the correct approach
This is how I do it, and this method is accordance with natural law. I eat only what was available to my ancestors before man made technology took us away from hunting and scavenging (we are hunter scavengers not hunter gatherers FYI). If a food wasn’t available to this group of people, I don’t touch the stuff. Then I eat as much as I want whenever I feel like it, because our feelings are there to motivate us towards what is good for us and away from what is bad for us (assuming the landscape of possibility is the same as what our biology expects. The only thinking I have to do under these conditions is I’m preparing to make sure the nutritional landscape available to me is as close as possible to my ancestors nutritional landscape. And, what do you know, my feelings TELL me exactly what I need, exactly when I need it. I avoid processed modern food just as I avoid drugs, for the same reasons. Processed food and drugs are both designs to hyper stimulate and thus co-opt our natural drives into making us want more and more and more and to never be satisfied, damned is our health should we not be able to resist both of these evils. Narcotic man made drugs are evil because they subvert the natural law governing our minds and bodies. Narcotic man made foods are evil because they subvert the natural law governing our minds and bodies. It’s amazing that I had to spend 20 years going down the atheism / scientism rabbit hole, then 5 years down the Christianity rabbit hole, only to put the two together, and conclude religion has all the right answers. Science and individuals like Anthony helped me build a bridge between these two world views. Good and evil are real. We are creatures just like any other who have a biology which expects a certain landscape. We are not our own Gods, we can’t have whatever we want whenever we want, we must respect natural law (God’s plan and design). To not do so is to slowly march towards your own personal hell right here on planet Earth.
Regarding water I once heard that should sip water slowly dont gulp down a heap of water at once and to not drink too much while eating because it can dilute stomach acid and affects digestion. Not sure if true but I don’t have problems with water. My Gall Bladder was removed 30 years ago so I think my liver is working well to break fat down

To acid reflux suffers (especially those without a bladder) add 1 teaspoons of Enos to a glass of water and skull. Have another dose if your reflux is severe and persistent. Enos is just baking soda with a sweetener, and I personally do not worry about the sweetener because I do not get acid reflux often enough for it to be a concern. The Baking soda instantly absorbs they acid giving you immediate relief. You are getting acid reflux because you are eating more fat that your liver can produce the required amount of bile in order to dissolve the fat. For those with gallbladders they have a reserve whereas those without don't. So eat less fat and you will not get acid reflux. Also allow you body (liver especially) time to adapt to the volume of fat you are eating and perhaps it will churn out more bile over time. Always have some fat but not more than your liver can handle. I sometimes eat lean meat and add a little room temperature dripping (aka tallow) that way I can control/adjust the portion of fat in my meal.

no worries - hdl a bit on the low side but will improve / trigs a bit high though in range - The IR is wrong because you must convert the mmol/L to mg/dl to convert trig 1.91 x 89 and HDL 0.97 x 39 -- IR = 169.99/37.83 = 4.49 which is severe IR but will improve - search Dr Sten Ekberg vlog for some good info on Insulin Resistance - As he says it takes years to break the insulin and BG machine and may take up to 2 years - My IR was 3.9 and is now 2.1 which is just out of range but should be closer to 1 and that is after 18 months - stay the course

I would suggest you assess your situation with the Dr Chaffee suggestion. If your stool is hard and dry add fat, if it’s on the loose side or there is any digestive distress lessen the amount of fat. If you're short of breath, or feel like you're having a heart attack, or get light headed, etc., get yourself to the ER. If it's just pounding, flip flopping, or an irregular beat, I wouldn't stress. This is normal when you first adapt to carnivore, but if you don't feel right about things, get to a doctor. I just had my doc apt., and my heart now sounds normal! @@brunobortoli12

With vitamin D if people have lowered their natural cholesterol from not eating enough saturated animal fats, then their vitamin D will be low due to lower cholesterol. Cholesterol collects in skin and rays of sun stimulates Vitamin D production, but found naturally in fat of animals.
I am eating mostly meat as of the past few months, but back in October I had a CT Angiogram and my calcium score was zero. This put my whole mindset into question as to whether or not I would still be doing well from eating an omnivorous diet since I have gone this far without developing plaque. I am 56 years old.
I have a small hiatal hernia and acid reflux. I’ve been on a carnivore diet for over 100 days. Would it be possible for my gut to be healed on the carnivore diet and eventually get off the medication for acid reflux ?
Thank you Dr Chaffee! During chemo, I’ve been craving carbs more, and this past week became severely dehydrated and neutropenic. So this week, I have added a few steamed vegetables (squash) and blueberries and feel much better. I’m a bit worried I’ll slip back into my old carb-addicted ways but so far I’m able to avoid bread, grains, sugar. I feel like I needed the carbs to help rehydrate my body and that’s why I was craving them. So far only minor gas as a side effect of reintroducing some carbs. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
I'm sorry you have to go through chemo. I hope you'll be healed. 🙏🏼 Just because you crave fruits and vegetables doesn't mean you should consume them. Especially not if you have cancer and are going through chemo. If you want to hydrate yourself, all you need is electrolytes. They contain the minerals your body needs to be hydrated. By consuming those fruits and vegetables, you may slow down your healing. Cancer loves carbs, even if it's whole foods. The body will break them down to sugar and the cancer cells will thrive on them. I wish you the best on your healing journey. Prayers ascending for you. 🙏🏼
Oh, Michelle, do you watch Jeff De Prosperis? His channel name is "Blessings on My Journey - Jeff De Prosperis." He's a Carnivore who's fighting cancer by eating only meat and fasting. He does 5 day long fasts on the week of his chemo treatments. Right now however, he's doing an 8 day fast for an upcoming test. He wants to make sure that everything is clear for the test.
@@1Hope4Allthank you, I will look him up. I have tried fasting as well. The current crisis of dehydration and neutropenia worsened with fasting, but thank you for the suggestion. Hi Anthony. My name is Antony. I’ve been on carnivore diet for 6 months. I love it. But I’ve started feeling a bit constipation. Could you please have any advice??? Regards Antony
Hey that's so great!
Happened to me like that too
How long you been on carnivore ?
I found a more holistic approached dentist who recommends Weston a price type of diet and the hygienist is actually carnivore, I found this out when she mentioned how clean my teeth are and I told her that's bc I pretty much only eat animal products. :)

@@ttalvit1e ABSOLUTELY
That’s awesome! We need to influence mire doctors toward carnivore. Dr. Chaffee needs to group with Dr. Berry and Dr. Baker to open an online med school for new med students, and offer training for current doctors with nutrition and health info.
Way cool.

Chaffee.
Thanks for the info
Wow ty! 😮❤😊
Yes! I think I used to over produce histamines back when I was WFPB. One example is that mosquito bites would often turn into huge, red welps and would last for weeks! Two months into carnivore, they were just consistently small, red bumps that would quickly go away and barely itch!! 🙌🏻 ❤
Love peppers and tomatoes feel good after eating them with lots of meat love potatoes but don't feel good after
Funny enough cured meat will cause histamine issues same with bone broth ;)
I admire how you think so logically and how you validated plants trying to kill us in the nicest way😊

My cholesterol and LDL levels both increased, but my HglA1c normalized and my triglycerides significantly decreased. My doctor offered me a statin, and I declined.
Thank you 😊

Ive been seeing things about Alpha-Gal and how they want to add it to foods to make us allergic to beef.😶
Well I started listening to you and have started eating meat and I can’t express how well I have started to feel I have even started hiking. I haven’t gone full carnivore but I want to but I tried Atkins years ago and lost no weight. I have hashimotos so I’m concerned about that and my heart because of heart disease which was attributed to thyroid. I really want to try this all the way my BP has been going in the right direction so I’m really nervous about the heart any advice? Really enjoy your advice!!!
I saw that Hasimoto have so many correlations with a leaky gut triggering an autoimmune response plus sibo, and meat was one of the steps to heal back the gut lining. Maybe you could check concerning Hashimoto, gut leak and carnivore diet.
My wife’s dad got told he was at a high risk of having diabetes. So after the doctor told him how to eat, he eats a lot less meat and mostly carbs. And he got these pills every single day. Seems weird he would need the medication if his diet change was the correct approach
The guy with the stomach pain-is he taking aspirin or other OTC meds? I had to give up aspirin; then my stomach pain went away.
I remember reading in NY's Conservationist, an experienced mushroom hunter died from mushrooms she ate.
Hello from Tulsa.
Who the Hell writes a comment this long?
Sheesh? 🙄🙄🙄
Vitamin is produced within the skin from exposure to sunlight and can not be washed off bless all xx
Regarding water I once heard that should sip water slowly dont gulp down a heap of water at once and to not drink too much while eating because it can dilute stomach acid and affects digestion. Not sure if true but I don’t have problems with water. My Gall Bladder was removed 30 years ago so I think my liver is working well to break fat down
Thank u
If my diabetic nurse or doctor ask, I’m low carb. Job done lol 😆 cxxx
Me too. My endocrinologist asked me if I was following an eating plan. I said low carb high fat. No problem.
My area adds huge amounts of chlorine and that upsets my stomach. I have to drink filtered water. Even some mineral waters have too much chlorine and upset my stomach so have to be careful with brand.
I buy reverse osmosis water and add sea salt for minerals.
I am taking Drug called Apelisib. It makes you insulin resistant. I was put on metformin and insulin. The side effects of both of those meds are not great. I took myself off them. I recently started carnivore. My glucose level is between 70 to 140. I keep track of everything I eat. Do you think my numbers will get better over time? Thank you, Catherine.
Yes sir. Go Chaffee Go 🤘
To acid reflux suffers (especially those without a bladder) add 1 teaspoons of Enos to a glass of water and skull.
Thank you

On 95% Carnivore for 3 months, should I be worried?
Lost 44lbs so far
no worries - hdl a bit on the low side but will improve / trigs a bit high though in range - The IR is wrong because you must convert the mmol/L to mg/dl to convert trig 1.91 x 89 and HDL 0.97 x 39 -- IR = 169.99/37.83 = 4.49 which is severe IR but will improve - search Dr Sten Ekberg vlog for some good info on Insulin Resistance - As he says it takes years to break the insulin and BG machine and may take up to 2 years - My IR was 3.9 and is now 2.1 which is just out of range but should be closer to 1 and that is after 18 months - stay the course

Since my body reacts poorly to Wheat and/or Gluten I have to avoid bread or buns which means that if getting a free sandwich from Subway I have to throw away the bun. The same holds true for any sandwich or burger place as long as they do not grill their burgers in seed oils since I react poorly to some of those too.
I've been 4 months on keto and 7 months on carnivore. Dropped 50 lbs this year. 4 of these months Ive been stalled. Upped my fats, cut all things sweet tasting, only meat, water and salt. Just tried the sardine fast and I stayed the same. Could this just be my body making corrections? What can I do?
I would suggest you assess your situation with the Dr Chaffee suggestion. If your stool is hard and dry add fat, if it’s on the loose side or there is any digestive distress lessen the amount of fat. Not all of us can eat as much fat as Dr Chaffee. Once you fine tune your perfect ratio I think you will have any problem dropping the excess fat.
Are you doing g any exercise that might help or if your constantly doing the same kind of exercise maybe switch it up to something else
@@jennikimpton5996 I’ve just started doing exercise and it’s pretty light.
Exercise is good for the body but crap for loosing fat!
@@simonsmedley5434
Sprinting is amazing for visceral fat-see Sean O’Mara. Also, heavy lifting is great for belly fat and is advised when it comes to weight training (but work your way up of course, and it’s advised to use the super slow method and bands make it easier on your joints). ❤
What are you guys eating on high far I'm doing chuck and ribeye steaks with butter. Is there a better way to add fat than butter?
I tried adding back decaf coffee after several months on carnivore and feeling good. I got itchy skin and really painful joints in my hands and elbows. It was the same arthritic-like pain symptoms I had before doing carnivore, so now I feel like caffeine was a major player in my chronic joint issues.
me too
Interesting! I am on Day 22 of NO COFFEE. I have done well overall considering how much I love it. This is my NOV challenge. But maybe I won't add it back. I also just read that DECAF is even more toxic. OMG. Here I thought for months that I was making a better choice as I try to wean myself off it altogether. My heart racing issue has greatly improved! I did not expect this. Now that you mention it, I am also experiencing less itchy skin! I love Dr. Ken Berry and he did a video saying coffee is OK. But my body seems to be telling me I best stay away from it. I may add the regular coffee back in Dec only on weekends to see what I experience. I especially LOVE the simplicity of CARNIVORE because I get to see right away how everything affects me.
Try organic coffee. A lot of pesticides are used on coffee beans.
@@squeekytoys5911 thanks foe your advice. I get royally punished by level 8 pain when I get off carnivore, so coffee is becoming less attractive these days. I'll try to be like Dr. Shawn Baker and do push ups when I have to work long hours.
@@jhenyalovering41 I'm glad you're learning so much through self-experimentation. So far, everything outside of fatty beef makes my health deteriorate to some degree. No matter how slightly, the perfectionist in me never wants to lose the gains carnivore got me.
Yes, Dr. Chaffee! Yes to fatty meat! (Picking up some beef cheeks I ordered from the butcher later today.) It's ironic that the markets offer mostly lean meats but most of the customers are fat. Now I understand binge eating. We keep going because the body's still waiting for the real food.
Friend, please, if could give me a hint. When i eat fatty meat my heart hours later feels like a pressure in it, this is normal? I put my experience in here, and it's above your comment, if you could read. Thanks!
@@brunobortoli12 I'm sorry but I'm not qualified to help you. No, that doesn't sound normal, but everyone's health journey is different and needs individual attention. I found help with a naturopathic doctor. It's unfortunate that we must pay out of pocket for such help, but it was worth every penny. I wish you the best!
I've had Irregular heartbeats for years and even had to carry around nitroglycerin at one point (years ago). I also noticed that at first my heart seemed worse and pounded harder than usual after starting carnivore. I heard Dr. Barry say that this is normal so I didn't stress. It didn't last long and only happened a couple of times. Now I don't have any irregular heartbeat at all (after 20+ years! --I lost my brother and father to heart attacks.).
Thank you!@@TerriblePerfection
Thanks!@@Kat1791 I will see how It goes for the next days, and if necessary i'll appoint an scan just to check things, but it's just like a pressure in the left chest. Thank you for your message.
With vitamin D if people have lowered their natural cholesterol from not eating enough saturated animal fats, then their vitamin D will be low due to lower cholesterol. Cholesterol collects in skin and rays of sun stimulates Vitamin D production, but found naturally in fat of animals.
Thank you Doc.
I am eating mostly meat as of the past few months, but back in October I had a CT Angiogram and my calcium score was zero. This put my whole mindset into question as to whether or not I would still be doing well from eating an omnivorous diet since I have gone this far without developing plaque. I am 56 years old.
Do I need to take supplements?
Being on carnivore diet
No
Chugging water can cause discomfort because if you take little breaths while drinking, air gets in your gi track and gives you trapped gas pain
Since I have started Edwin go ground beef chicken eggs my urine is cloudy and bubbly. I also have breast cancer
Ughh auto correct. I started eating….
@@GustavoCarranza-g2b eat strict carnivore, no sugar and take high dosage iodine supplements to combat the cancer.
I have a small hiatal hernia and acid reflux. I’ve been on a carnivore diet for over 100 days. Would it be possible for my gut to be healed on the carnivore diet and eventually get off the medication for acid reflux ?
Would this help with high sugar?
Yes
Deadlift is down 120 lbs in 3 months on carnivore. All lifts are down 30%+
Dr. Chaffee, hope you get to take a break for a day or so from work so you can get some sleep! ☺️
Just because you crave fruits and vegetables doesn't mean you should consume them.
His channel name is "Blessings on My Journey - Jeff De Prosperis."
He's a Carnivore who's fighting cancer by eating only meat and fasting.
I have never been successful at a fast longer than 48 hours and even then I felt terrible and did not get benefits I was seeking.
@@ARefinedMe Okay, sorry about your troubles during this time of fighting cancer. Everyone is different. Especially women. We need more fat than men do so I can understand your troubles in this particular case. Listening to your body is best, of course.
Hey from the New Jersey shore! Sep 21,2023 start date. Can’t eat so much. and still am not hungry . Could explain liquid stools. Using a roll of tp a day lol! I don’t call it fasting, I just say I AM NOT HUNGRY.
I went through that for quite a while. Upping fat seemed to help. Quit dairy except for cup of coffee with cream.
This is happening to me as well. I am down to eating OMAD and its not much. i am just not hungry and i usually eat only about half of my meal. I started Sept 5, 2023 so I am just a couple of weeks ahead of you. Occasionally, I will eat a pound of ground beef or an entire large ribeye then not much for days.
Cutting down fat certainly helps with that. You are not yet able to absorb so much fat at first, the rest goes through you fast.
Only eat when you’re hungry and when you eat lots of fat it keeps you from being hungry.
I went through that at first for 6 weeks.
Hi Anthony.

I’ve been on carnivore diet for 6 months. I love it. But I’ve started feeling a bit constipation.
Could you please have any advice???

I’m not sure if it was this video or another one that he said it, but the answer is to eat more fat.
Dr. Chaffee says to eat more fat.😊
