The first 5 minutes I just broke down. 7 miscarriages followed by a 41 week stillbirth over 5 years and now for a 1.5 years a total inability to even get pregnant. When I was pregnant I was starving every hour and all I wanted was meat and dairy, I’d never eaten as much food despite being obese, my baby wanted it so I ate it and I lost weight, I think I was malnourished and by the time I got pregnant my body was desperately trying to play catch up to nourish the baby, my inflammation was masked by taking prednisone. I normally go all day without eating then have one meal that’s normally carb based and crappy snacks. I’ve just got a job for the first time in a decade so we can properly afford for my husband and I to go totally meat based after listening to these videos.

Wow, I'm so sorry for you losses. I truly believe there is hope for a life you long for! I've been carnivore for a year and a half. Honestly, I've found carnivore to be less expensive. Just stick with meat and butter and eggs if you like. See if you grocery has 73/27 ground beef chubs-- I've researched it and it's good and it's about 80% fat-- cook it on low just until it's done and then pour it with all the fat out and eat it until it doesn't taste good to you anymore. Or, get ribeye or chuck or anything when it's on sale. If it's lean, add more butter. Lots and lots of fat. Watch Dr. Chaffee's how to get started video. Learn everything you can from these carnivore doctors who keep it simple and pure. I think your life can change 100%. Believe me, it's cheaper. You can probably pretty easily eat for around $6 a day. For a month that's $180 a person. That's generally kind of hard to do. I save a minimum of $200 a month because I'm no longer chasing sugar alone. Not including drinking. It's amazing! I hope the very best for you.

@kmontgomery3690 like others mention, it is cheaper. It eliminates so much like pain pills, medicines, packaged snack foods, expensive sugar drinks. It is very simple. If you have a store like Krogers or similar, they often do mark-down stickers on their meats after a few days. Pop a roast in the crock-pot. Boil eggs. Do multiple days of breakfast sausages & bacon all in one cook hour each Sunday. Make your hamburger patties. Make steaks and cut them into strips for work - yummy as a fingerfood.

I’m still struggling with mine after 7 months. I was hoping for improvement but so far, nothing. I started out keto 7 months ago but was still eating a lot of total carbs despite keeping my net carbs under 30. I’ve switched to Ketovore the last 2 months and have been keeping total carbs close to zero (my duck eggs do have some carbs in them).
Still no progress with my endometriosis but lots of positive results on other areas like losing weight, easier fasting, feeling more full and satisfied, more balanced hormones, etc. I hope the endometriosis improves soon, but so far, no luck for me… but, to be fair, I’ve had 42 years of bad nutrition and anxiety disorders/stress, so I need to be patient with myself. It takes time to heal and each person is different.

I think it's definitely worth a try dramatically increasing fat intake of you're trying to get pregnant. Would also make sure you're getting your Omega 3s in, plenty of fish oil. Best of luck, I really hope it happens for you!

I’m still praying I have enough time left to have a child some day, but I know it’s not likely, so I’m trying not to get my hopes up. In wish I had tried this diet sooner in life (like in my teens!!).
There’s a lot of improvement with my health, so that’s a plus, and I’ve lost 65 pounds this year, so that’s always good thing. But most people to whom I would like to recommend your videos don't speak English well and wouldn't read subtitles for an hour. Is there anyone you know who does this in German? Great video with lots of helpful information. I have been binge watching your content last few weeks. SO much great information from a nice array of researchers and clinicians etc.
Although I do want to make a clarification on something I have heard you mention. Hopefully I am not misunderstanding what you said or implied.
I have heard you make the claim regarding population genetics, that we dont have allelic frequency shifts happening in small timelines, a few times now. But this is not accurate as we have numerous causes for such a thing and it happens all the time. When one studies PG we are spending a lot of time learning exactly how allelic frequency shifts occur and how to either enhance that process or reduce or even eliminate it, in conservation genetics for example.
I think you might be trying to point out that allelic frequencies dont rise and fall in many of the manners our logical thinking would assume, which is true. But it is very common for dramatic population shifts, especially with allelic frequencies and in very short timelines, to occur.
BUT to support what you said in this video in regards to brain size changes... you would be accurate to say that it most likely did NOT happen in a short time period.. 100 years is much to short in time as this would be something that is adapting and "evolving" over a very long time.

What KIltz says about the nature of scientific journals is why I love to say "I fucking hate science". It annoys the people who worship at the altar of public scientific consensus, and rhetorically undermines the basis of their quasi-religious belief system. But I do love real science, which is difficult to find because what it finds challenges cherished narratives and people who've gained positions of power and influence based on said narratives. And in general human beings hate admitting they are wrong. Especially if they have been wrong for a long time and have a position of prominence.

    • @MsJavaWolf
      @MsJavaWolf 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

CICO kind of works, I've done it many times. The problem is that neither calories in nor calories out are really fixed, your body can burn more or less calories depending on hormones, and even CICO bros treat different macros differently. 1g of protein has 4.1 Calories but many count it as 3 calories, because it's an inefficient form of fuel.
Once you make those adjustments, is it really CICO? Carnivore is also very satiating for many people so being comfortably stuffed is easier. But if you were to consume a very low amount of garbage food you would still lose weight, that's how people starve, it might not be very healthy though.

I disagree with only one thing Doctor K said, that honey can be contaminated. It cannot if it is in it's natural state. If it is watered down and has rice malt or other outside substances added to it like most commercial honey, then yes. But natural honey is antibacterial and preservative, that is why they found jars in Egyptian tombs that were in perfect condition and totally edible even though they were thousands of years old ! Honey has been used in healing for centuries, it is the only non plant sugar and if used in small quantities has beneficial results and natural enzymes. It also speeds up healing time when used topically on wounds, especially burns. I love eating meat but my one spoon of honey a day feels right. It is great to see doctors waking up and getting on board with instinct and reality based medicine. Proof of the pudding is definitely in the eating !

I had my first carnivore baby because of you Dr Kiltz! After years of failed infertility treatments at my local clinics I finally found you and started immediately. Conceived not even two months into your diet recommendations. My son is now 2 and thriving! He’s even taught himself how to read when my first child didn’t read until he was 4 and I spend so long teaching him. It truly amazes me and he never gets sick. Carnivore is definitely optimal 💕

Thank you both! It definitely been an amazing experience! My boys are also much taller than their peers which I’m sure they will be happy about as they get older lol. But definitely the health is my main concern and I’m so grateful for easy pregnancies, labors and happy healthy children. Fingers crossed I’ve still got many more to come ☺️

@@theoddpath he’ll be 3 at the end of January and I do offer him some carbs here and there. He’s not a huge fan but every one in a while he will. He’s not into fruits tho. He’s nibbled a strawberry and apple once our twice but that’s it lol. Mostly meat, eggs, yogurt, cheese ect. He’s been on a shrimp kick lately.

I am thriving on high fat meat. My butcher leaves all the fat on for me and makes high fat mince for me. I save the dripping off roast and chops to cook my eggs in, I make bone broth and slow cooked stews with all the cheap cuts and bones. My skin, hair and nails are amazing and I sleep really well. I LOVE this WOE.

This must have been the easiest interview of Dr Cheaffee ever. Get dr K going and take a chill pill and listen. DR K is a world of knowledge.

I wish I knew this before my pregnancies! Morning sickness the whole time! But makes sense, as I was vegetarian for my entire life beforehand. I actually started eating beef in my first pregnancy, and I craved fish in my 2nd.

I told both of my friends about this who are trying to get pregnant, and they ignore it. They blame it on hormones, and they don't think their diet could fix their issues. It fixed 20 years worth of RA inflammation for me, so I know it is working. But I can't convince them.
