- One Hour Enamel "OHE" made by Wise Owl is an incredibly tough, tenacious, fast-drying acrylic enamel for interior and exterior use on surfaces that require a quick return to service and an abrasion-resistant finish.
Definitely my go to for Cabinets, countertops, doors, and floors!
Even better! They make it in CLEAR! So, you can guess what I most likely use for my top coat over all my CHALK PAINTED PIECES.

Lol. You know your talking to me right? I took a scrubbing pad and a cleaner… can’t say I remember which one and did my best.. this paint sticks so there is still a bit but not noticed unless you know… like I know where it is

Looks nice, I have done all that - stenciling on floor etc....... I just ruin it with the caulking... I did a good job last time, but not this time!!

I'm going to paint our countertops. How has this paint held up? Also, my husband is allergic to the appliance epoxy that I used recently. Does the paint you used have a strong smell? Your application looks like something I would like in our kitchen--love it.

I’m so ready to makeover my bathrooms and after all the DIY videos I’ve watched, this seems the easiest for the counters. I have mirrors like that one and am going to frame them with mosaic tiles. Are you going to change yours too?

That Wise Owl paint sounds amazing - did you calk around the edges. I made a right mess of my caulking - I think it was the product lol

I just did a section... the part I use for filming and staging my furniture for videos. It took me a bit more then a quart.. I watered it down for the concrete, because seriously who cares it’s a garage

Great job! Have you used this on kitchen counter tops? If so what top coat did you use? And do you have a video on it?
It has a built In Top coat. But for extra protection I would use OHE in clear.

How do you clean them once painted? What products are safe to sanitize?
I use non bleach cleaners. All will work. I just spray and wipe
Hello. Can I use Zinsser Bulls Eye 123 Water-Based Primer with OHE to paint my formica kitchen countertop? I am not in the US and cannot purchase Wise Owl Primer online. Thank you.
I have heard that other primers may have a reaction with OHE. I would contact Wise Owl directly. They are very helpful

It has a slight Oder. But nothing like your hardware store paint.. or even AS chalk paint 🤫
How is the counter holding up?
Bathroom is doing great! Despite my daughter being an absolute mess. Kitchen I have learned…. If you leave oil, butter for more time them I would like to admit… it breaks down the paint. Thanks husband!
Also full disclosure I did not prime my kitchen counter tops.. nor film it.. so there’s that.

Primer is a good idea in certain situations , no matter what paint line you are using
I have never said anything negative on sites like this , but no this video has way too many brush strokes on the counter .
