When I was a kid they had it playing to show off the xbox 360's at walmart. I put a good 1 hour into it in that store. Eventually my mom stopped me but it was fun anyways.
41yrs old and I remember raising my son playing this innocent and sane game simply to ensure he has a healthy mind growing up those fragile and most important years. Today he’s an excellent young 22yr old man with a great head on his shoulders making it through life. Till this day we still remind each other of this game and both own it on our Xbox’s. I thank God for that! And I thank the makers of this game for creating such an immersive, cosy feeling, saludable, and interesting game that features beautiful music that keeps you in its world for hours entertained. I hope for a new game from Rare like this and that other game companies read this and create such educational clean and mentally healthy games. P.S. This game should have gone mobile years ago for the children!
It technically did go mobile, around 2009 i believe there was a Nintendo DS version. So players could play anywhere in the world! It’s nowhere near as graphically enhanced however and doesn’t feature all of the amazing music either. But it still captures that same, chill vibe as the original games
This game is literally the perfect blend of Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon. Such an underrated nostalgic classic. This game was completely out of place being on Xbox though

This game reminds me of my grandma, among other things. One night, there was a tornado warning in our area, so my grandma came over to our house because we had a basement. I wad playing this game in my room at like 12:30 am while my grandma was asleep in the living room. Now I am her caregiver and she is in the final stages of her life. May she find peace and joy in her next adventure.

We had it on Xbox 360 until it stopped working (first the system wouldn’t eject the disc, then it wouldn’t read the disc), and we have three Xbox One consoles that don’t work so I can’t play it on Rare Replay just yet 😔 I had so much fun attracting Pinatas in this game. I distinctly remember pouring water on a Pretztail to keep it from eating one of my Bunnycombs, but my favorite of them was the Kittyfloss. I had bought several of them and named most of them after myself lol

I just started playing this game very recently, its my first time ever though , but i've played many other Rare titles, this is a very underappreciated game and should be up there with their other games like Banjo Kazooie and GoldenEye( Though those two still top it).

In the TV show, a couple characters are a bit (or very) reluctant about the idea, whilst others consider it their sacred calling in life. However, in the games, it's more generally implied that the pinatas look forward to going to a big party and making folks happy.
