    Helmet, wrist guards.
    Hopefully you bought safety gear before the first cut out.

    Are you flying a drone while riding your EUC? LoL that's talent.
    I was gonna get one wheel then found these. I Didn't wanna spend 2k but damn I might have to because I know I will want to upgrade to this or the Sherman relatively fast. Thanks for the video

      Nothing wrong with starting with a less expensive wheel. Inmotion has other quality models such as the V8F.

    No gear buddy , big mistake Carter!!! You won't be flying your drone for long when you snap your rists when you fall off !!!

    Maybe I miss-heard but a couple things.
    - I think you said it weights 40lbs... I wish. It weights just under 60lbs
    - Top speed is 35 (I also have never gone that fast and likely won’t)

    • @CarterMasonYT
      @CarterMasonYT  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry yes I meant 60 pounds. I thought the top speed was 34 when I purchased it but now ewheels website says 31 (that’s why I said 31)

      @@CarterMasonYT i do have the v11 and top speed 34 mile per hours.( only after you have updated to the latest firmware and the battery is 80 percent above) 31 miles per hours max speed when battery les than 80 percent remember your weight play major part.

    You can get 70 miles from the V11? What was your average speed of the trip when you got 70 mile?

    Apologies... Even though I'm a fellow EUC rider (V11 as well), I'm going to have to be the fun police here but have you thought of maybe getting some sort of body and head protection whilst you ride? Wrist guards and helmet at the very minimum. I know you're not going mega fast but fast enough. It doesn't take much to snap a wrist and/or mild concussion if you come off unexpectedly. Some nice shots there with the drone! Look forward to seeing more. :)

      I appreciate it thank you! I do have a helmet and wrist guards I wear on occasion when Im challenging myself. I understand that accidents can happen. Thank you for the concern and great comments!

    Nice vid, do you have any bearing issues? How many miles you have so far and which batch did you purchase? Thanks!

    • @CarterMasonYT
      @CarterMasonYT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope no bearing issues! I got it in batch 3. I’m not sure how many miles are on it. I’m out of town so I can’t check. If I were to guess probably 400-500.

      @@CarterMasonYT Got it. I am leaning towards getting the V11 over the S18 but I am worried about bearing issues down the road. If you had to do it over again, would you still buy the V11?

    • @CarterMasonYT
      @CarterMasonYT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would get the v11 again for sure. I think the bearing issues were only in batch 1 and 2 but I’m not 100% sure. Also if you are using ewheels my affiliate link is in the description. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

    Nice video, I just stumbled across it looking into the v11. The only thing I wish was done differently is that you reviewed it deeper than reading inmotions claims. For example range I want to know the actual range that this thing provides for real people during a realistic ride. While yours was fun to watch after finding some other reviews you didn’t really say anything of value. Unless of course you have actually got close to 70 miles of range which would be 20-30 miles more than most of the people reviewing this thing..

    • @CarterMasonYT
      @CarterMasonYT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Yeah that makes sense. I love it. I haven’t gone more than probably 20 miles in a single ride. It always has plentttty of range for me (especially compared to electric longboards or onewheels). I’d guess after 20miles it still has 4 out of 5 bars for battery. This thing is awesome. I’d definitely recommend!

      Please do not condone gearless riding. It's fine to test out going less than 10 mph but it just takes one idiot to fuck it up for everyone.

    • @BayBizzGrinder
      @BayBizzGrinder 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the ‘overgearing‘ intimidates the public. (IMO) Know one wants to see darth Vader flying towards them.... especially with the EUC world in its infancy.
      Be responsible, don’t need to ride full send all the time. Slow riding with a ocean spray drink on a skateboard without PPE didn’t hurt or scare nobody...

    • @flashyflash7152
      @flashyflash7152 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@BayBizzGrinder Excuse me? I'm sure millions of nerds out there would LOVE to see Vader flying towards them. In all seriousness, a wave could dispel intimidation. Saving my face and knees and wrists takes prio over anyone's feelings.
      I do agree, not all rides need to be full geared. I go like 5-6 residential blocks to pick up a sandwich but I still put on a bike helmet. I also live in a city with a lot of dangers, so in my environment, it's a must.

    • @OnizukaGTO
      @OnizukaGTO 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@BayBizzGrinder Why should you care about strangers in public being intimidated?
      On the other hand, why aren't you concerned about the riders family? siblings, kids, spouse, friends? When he has an accident, gets injured or worse?
      Safety is your own responsibility, because the "public" certainly won't give a bollocks either way. Wearing safety gear is just common sense.

      @@BayBizzGrinder dude , we gear up not because we doubt our capabilities of riding the EUC or we are speeding , we gear up so we can protect ourselves from people who don’t give a shit about the rules , they don’t keep their eyes open when they are walking or driving their cars on the road etc.
