Oh, hey, I remember this cartoon. It was broadcasted in Germany in a very popular kid's show called "Die Sendung mit der Maus". I still remember how the narrator preonounced one of the cat's name in a very weird way.
Didn't expect to find this cartoon ever again.

I've been feeling nostalgic lately and tried hunting down shows and animations I remembered fondly from my childhood, I believe my parents bought a VHS tape that might have had a collection of NFB shorts on it, as I remember this along with the Boy and the snow goose and The Man who stole dreams...there might have been others but these three are the ones that stood out most in my memories...
