I wish they still had cubicles in the workplace. I cannot tell you the amount of times I've been interrupted and lost my train of logic when programming and working on a project. It's very annoying and having to, each time, get back into your head your exact thoughts before you were interrupted is time-consuming and a waste of the company's time. An open office is a good design for some teams/departments, but certainly not all.
I know how you feel. It's like KH with vehicles, summons and no weirdness of having Anime-esq characters and Disney characters in the same world. This could be one of Square Enix's best titles and the game hasn't been released since it's announcement 6 years ago! It's infuriating. If nothing shows at E3, I swear...

Don't be jealous. :) A little exercise can fix anyone up to be good-looking. You don't have to bash others out of frustration.
