Hello Ben, I want to go around the world on a motorcycle. I bought a 411 for this purpose. Now I can change it for a 450 or a cfmoto 450mt. One thing that holds me back is valve adjustment on the 411 I can do it anywhere anytime I CAN DO IT. Where as the new one is not easy perhaps checking but adjustment is not possible. I plan to start doing north america the limiting factor is MONEY so if I have to find and pay for a major service on the bike every 10000km I won’t go very far. The 411 sounds ideal yet after some long runs I feel like the engine is over stressed am I paranoid and the 411 engine cand do it? around the world. Thanks Ben❤
I would classify the difference much simpler: Clueless western rider:get the 450. You can't do anything in terms of improving but you also do not need to. Top speed fitting for good western highways. India: the 120 kmh top speed the 411 hands out is anyway the top save speed anywhere in India. If you are unhappy with 22 HP get the 477BB kit and cam and ride with 34HP. That is so close to the 450 that the difference means very little. As for the front brake: get sintered pads and you are good. The 450 is an elephant compared to the 411, in a bad sense. I train short individuals on the 411 all the time, I would not dream of putting them on a heavy 450. That and the missing torque in low rpm disqualifies the 450. If I wanted a bike like that I'd buy a KTM. Much better quality track record. I can't believe some 450 even suffered frame breaks, what a deja vu!
This is by far the best comparison of these two bikes out there. Much appreciated! I think there is a reason why (at least for now), RE is offering both of these two bikes in parallel. Because they are so different and cater to different audiences. But if there is one more comparison I would love you to make - it would be 411 scram vs 411 Himalayan.
411 rider, since 2018. I did couple of test ride on 450. what I liked from those short ride (on and off road) * suspension ✅ * break ✅ * chassis ✅ its way advanced. RE says 450 is lighter, but its horrible side stand design makes its so hard!! I cant think of touring with it with all the luggage. for anyone planning to upgrade or buy, wait for next gen KTM 390 adventure
Thank you, that was a very interesting exploration of each bike--easier for me to watch because I cancelled my 450 order and got a 411. But if I was a different kind of rider probably the 450 would be better.
Why do I feel that you are speaking my words Ben... hahahahahaha. As I said, when we met in Blore, I moved from the H411 to H450, I think I can relate to every word that you said and God, I did not find a single remark untrue.. H411 for sure brings you from a "Nobody" to "Somebody" wrt adv-riding. H450 takes the "Somebody" and makes you a "Better Somebody".. I guess this "Serious-Comparo" was something the entire Ben-Community was eagerly waiting for.. And , I must say, "damn those details are accurate".... Kudos Ben..
Ben, as always, a great video.. however you missed mentioning the dreaded vibrations at cruising speeds (100-110) on the 450. Any update on how RE intends to solve it? The whole point of getting the 450 was for cruising comfortably in triple digit speeds and this vibration thing is a big let down.
Hey bro whay don't you make Himalayan 411 tubeless spokes wheels videos please make it na i am tired of my Himalayan 411 pumcher please make it, i am watching your videos since 2 years mr. Been... 😢
The real look of adventure comes from 411 ❤❤❤❤.
411 rider from Italy! I love the fact that everybody, especially the not so young, ask me questions about it and they love it too.
I own a 411 and it's the most beautiful thing one can own
You really forgot one thing!! The cockpit view !! Damn that view!! ❤So analytical!!

The scram is more versatile than the Himalayan. The Himalayan can climb over rocks and ruts better . If this helps .
Cant wait for the 450 to come to Brazil! Been riding my 411 for 2 years now, but I'm pretty curious to see the 450 in person.
Great review "any given day"!!!

Yes that is the point
One point to mention. My 411 gets 98 miles per gallon (imperial) without much effort.

Completely agreed 💯. Excellent observation.

@@surajdubey2740 pls watch my videos on 450 playlist. I have found the solution to that .
Hi Ben. Nice video. Do you think it would be beneficial to put the 450's tyres on the 411? How are the new tyres better?
Fantastic video❤❤❤
Thanks Ben
