As an older runner, I like Pro 3 because it’s stable and have a firm but responsive foam that makes running enjoyable. Looking at the videos I’ve seen, Pro 4 is quite a bit softer, which means it’s not for me. Pity because I want a better upper.
This review makes me want the Adios. Not the 4 pro, but the 9! Funny comparison. My last pair of Adios is actually no. 4 😉 I like to stay close to the ground Sorry Pro 🤷♂️
The BITR video was the first I watched this morning, and as soon as Megan mentioned the softer midsole, I was bummed. The best thing about the AP3 is how dense and bouncy it is. I'm more interested in the evo sl.
I’m not sure the softer foam is a good thing (at least for me). As a heavier runner I love the pro 3s denser and firmer midsole. This sounds like it’s gone the same way as all the other very compliant race shoes.
So the inner heel collar is basically the same as the AP V3? With a significant about of space between the heel collar bumpers which can promote heel lift for a subset of runners? And what are the LSS numbers for you compared to the Alphafly 3? I find I like the feel of LS Pro foam, but the LSS values are TERRIBLE compared to the combination of ZoomX and Airpods.
Ha! I love that you are wearing two versions as you are filming. That's my favourite way to be on a zoom call - with running shoes under the table (occasionally looking down, analysing lugs - haha)! Cool shoe to race in, wishing you and the team and awesome marathon!
I was really excited to hear more about this model, since the Adidas Pro3 is, for me, the best shoe for running a marathon (for half marathons I prefer the Takumi Sen). A lot of the information is positive, but unfortunately it seems like they made the midsole softer. The firmness of the midsole of the current Adidas models is, in my opinion, just right and it is exactly this firmness that makes the brand's shoes superior to the others, especially the huge variety of soft midsoles that have taken over the market. It is a real shame if Adidas gave in to the enormous need for comfort for the extremely sensitive legs of these new generations.
@@AlexFilittimuch appreciated! I guess the rest were just in a rush to make a video. They had the shoe and all and still said they knew nothing about price. Thank you again, quality video!
Very interested in the Adizero Evo SL also. Are you already in Berlin? I might have seen you in Kreuzberg this morning in front of a vintage store.
I am in Berlin indeed! I was sitting on a bench working (publishing this video actually haha). Hopefully we meet again

how's the sizing?
How it feel compare to Sky Paris/Edge Pais or cloudboom strike?

I like and prefer padded heel and tongues special on long runs 👍🏻
Not sure about how I feel about softer foam. Thanks about the honesty about not blown away by it. I' ll pass on this one for now.

@@michaelmi7903 Yeah, watched that one too, though they didn't talk too much about the performance.
Thanks for your comment and continued support of the channel!!
Im a 17-minute 5k forefoot runner. Should i get the Sky paris or Pro 4? I have a sky+ and i love it
I'd lean for the Sky but I'm yet to run a 5k in the adi. Give me a few month and hopefully I can answer this based on racing experience in both
Ran my 5k best on my test run on the sky paris and thats not what theyre build for haha

For me is better 😊
I like the foam feeling of sen10,I'd like to know is the pro4 softer or harder to it?thank you.
Softer
Are you going to Race a marathon distance in them for a true reflection ? Thanks
Done today in Berlin
@@AlexFilitti look forward to the video on this, congratulations for running Berlin
True to size as in same as ap3 or now true size with other brands? Ap3 was half size short.
same price less shoe
What do you mean by less shoe?

After testing this, I'm quite interested in the Adizero Evo SL. Wondering how that shoe will feel. Great review.
I find adios pro 4 top tier, and I have tried most supershoes but definetively all. Especially for the price, it's an insane piece of tech.
Thank you!! what's your feeling about the shoe ?
Hi. Did you find the pro 4 much more instable than the pro 3? Pace at 4 a 4.5km/. Thanks

Can that even be washed and restored to its pristine whiteness after several kilometers?
Wonder if they use the Sam LS pro that they’re using in the 2024 AP3?
Its a bit softer in AP4

I feel the same, but will withhold judgement
Alex, where did you get your numbers from? I don’t doubt them, but several outlets even ones in Europe didn’t have small things like price etc.
Direct from adidas

The foam is PEBAx or tpee
According to believe in the run's podcast patrick mentioned that both pieces of midsole foam are a new formulation of TPEE lightstrike pro foam.
Good luck Sunday and looking forward to the race review 👍
Can i buy it from somewhere 🎉???
gotta go & get it
Good luck in Berlin 🎉🎉🎉. I think the right description for the shoe is - Efficient ❤❤❤
Thanks a lot!
