- The 2022 RC Monster Jam World Finals were held at Camping World Stadium during the Monster Jam World Finals Pit Party. The experience was insane! Going to a Monster Jam show is fun. Racing RC monster trucks is fun. Put the two together and you have the makings of an epic day. I tried my best to capture the races, but was also running around trying to keep my trucks running or prepping for the next event. My goal was to film all the races from the Quarterfinals on and I failed. I missed the first two. Hope you still enjoy watching the race action.

Right?? I accidentally did that to my buddy last week. We had built a jump for our Slash 4x4's & I wasn't trying to hit him...but I did, yeah it hurt him. I felt horrible.

I've been fortunate enough to be part of every RC monster jambrell finals and can tell you in the 28 years I've race RC. The RC monster gym world finals is by far the most entertaining and fun race in the industry.

Losi lmt's Axial smt 10's So Cal Monster Trucks Warpath chassis and Freestyle Rc chassis. There was a good assortment of trucks and platforms is platforms racing this year.
Traxxas doesn't make a solid axle monster truck, so none of their vehicles fit in the rules

You have some of the best monster truck drivers in the country at this race, that are all competitive in other forms of RC racing as well. Video does not give it just as how difficult this track was to get around fast.
I get where you are coming from. When I first saw the Monster Truck RC races in Virginia, I thought the same thing. "I can drive way faster and better than that". I was really good at bashing and lining up small jumps....but I could go anywhere I wanted. Put down race lanes and corners and it felt like I forgot how to drive. I've been doing it for 5 years now and it really is difficult...especially this truck with the 150 degree (or whatever it was) corner. Those corners got even harder when it got tacky. Freestyle on this course...was awesome! That was more my driving style.

Many of them are, but there are some custom trucks as well

Look for a local club or start one. It can be as easy as setting up to matched lanes and basically racing to the finish
@@CCxRC i got a couple clubs on fb but there little series they run is over before spring even gets going then all other races go to other states. Starting one doesn't really sound that bad, I would just have to find a safe place to hold events. Good looks on that idea idk why I didn't think of that

@@CCxRC i’m not advocating that I’m better or that I don’t appreciate the sport but I was just a little disappointed in the competition being the world finals. Seemed like 2 great drivers and the rest, well it looked like the track was getting the best of them. And Virginia is garage! Been here for over 30 years. Not great for crawling and everyone complains when you’re RCin.
There is only a handful of the full crew shown in this video. Unfortunately, I was dealing with servos breaking on this course, so I was doing repairs and couldn't film. There was some really great and close races. We were also learning the track during racing. We had a practice day but it was dry and dusty. Because of rain overnight...our morning practice time was spent removing water and repairing the track. It handled waayyy different. I lived in Virginia Beach for 17 years and am loving being back in Michigan.
@@CCxRC yeah, can’t wait to leave here. I live in Norfolk now and there’s nothing around Hampton roads area! Coastal RC is about to close and you have to go to Roanoke to get some good crawling…maybe Richmond if you want to deal with the city.
