@@FirstManDead copyright huh? So you are saying Monster Jam couldnt get the rights on this one video to even allow for the drivers name to be mentioned? I mean they literally use the music in the arena so they already have rights to use whatever track was played during that time. I'm calling BS here. They just wanted to add a cool effect to the video and the editor missed the cue.

@@jvon3885 Just because they're allowed to use the song in the stadium, doesn't mean they are allowed to use it in a video posted to youtube. TH-cam is extremely bad with how they handle copyrights, so MJ is probably just playing it safe here.
I can't wait to see what they do for the 50 anniversary. Here here to the next 10 years.

I remember when I was 7 I went to see my first monster jam in person and I've had all the little Grave Digger toys and I remember my eyes exploding out of my head when the Digger came to life and putting the whole crowd in awe it was one of the greatest nights of my life
My late mother knew Dennis personally and when he came to our town she talked him into giving me a ride in the grave digger once around the track. Literally sat on his lap ....remember looking in the back of the the digger absolutely puzzled that all there was was a huge Shiney engine and no back seats ...moments right next to my heart along with when my 1st born was brought into this world and taking the stage with my band for the 1st time.......love the grave digger......LONG LIVE THE KING!!!!

Couldn't agree more. This is typical of Monster Jam since becoming it's own brand and doing away with corporate sponsors like AAP, Built Ford Tough, etc. Everything is half-thought-out. There's absolutely no reason why this family and the most popular truck in the world shouldn't have been allowed to freestyle. The trucks were not damaged in any way.

For a 40th Anniversary Encore for Grave Digger this was really sad. Monster Jam has gone downhill I'm an old school fan and it's nowhere close to how it used to be.

I can't believe they brought back the black and green 25th anniversary and purple 30th anniversary bodies for this encore!!
And this is only the second or third time that I've ever seen a monster truck climb on top of another monster truck!

I am convinced, *CONVINCED* that Grave Digger is a living entity. They don't drive IT. They *tame* IT.
Remember when monster jam was awesome and they'd usually let the grave diggers run until they were upside down or they couldn't keep running, I miss that, but now they're so afraid from a truck even having a flat tire, I love monster jam, but they've gotten so pathetically soft over the years. It's sad it's annoying please monster jam stop this, if they're missing a wheel or if they've blown a tire let them keep going please. If you ever want to have a lot of fans again, let the truck keep going unless they're on fire.
Years ago here in Albuquerque, I got see 2 each of Grave Digger and Max-D (maybe it was Goldberg) trucks utterly destroy each others trucks ending with Meents parking his truck on top of the other 3 wrecked trucks haha, apparently Dennis Anderson and Tom Meents were in a bit of a personal grudge match at each other that year haha! And this was in a TINY arena, called Tingley Coliseum 👍🏻

Years ago a child was struck and killed by a part of the truck or car being smashed .. it hit him in the head killing him that’s why monster jam is so strict these days
It’s all about safety of drivers when ur getting big air like that and landing are brutal on trucks and drivers that’s why they Usally shut the truck down is drivers safety

The legend body was a nod to when tony Ferrell drove it, if you look it up from the Tacoma dome either 2010-2011
With the body's they are what they had at the shop, they could of done more but it is what it is.

I remember mud bogging against a primered gray panel-truck. They spray painted the name on the side with a black rattle can, and the name was Grave Digger. I’ll never forget when I first saw that truck. He drove like a wild man even back then.

I remember when i went to see monster jam in real life for the first time. My city only has a small stadium (only 10,000 seats.) And it has a permanent roof. I swear you will probably never hear anything louder than grave digger spinning in donuts. Also, the guys sitting next to me yelled hi to weston anderson when he got out of the truck to see if he won. Weston did see us. It was a great night.

Yep, wasn’t for Bigfoot there wouldn’t have been a Grave Digger monster truck and if it wasn’t for Billy Joel Miles the owner of TNT Motorsports back in the day. Dennis would’ve been done with Monster Trucks back in the TNT era.
