For each weapon there is First Equip animation, a Regular Equip animation, an Idle Break animation, a safe action animation, ads/hipfire animaitons, (attack/defend animations for melee wepaons), and 3 reload animation variants.
Any inspection animations? 2:17 that’s exactly what I was thinking V like do I need to go to the ripper doc and get my head checked or did this smart gun just talk?!
Fun fact: if you wanna use skippy to the fullest, choose puppy-loving pacifist as the first choice, then when youve used him enough, he forces you to use his lethal mode. Then, when he asks you to return him, say yes and never complete the mission.
little psa for anyone who may have not played the game and this is your first look at the guns: the skins are randomized. meaning you may find the exact same gun in a normal black/silver/exc. or you may find a hot pink one covered in stickers, and anything in between.
Some of these are also the iconic variants, for example the Carnage used is actually the “Guts” iconic (Rebecca’s gun) that gives of far more recoil than the standard Carnage
Aside from the blunder with the DR-12 Quasar at 11:39, the animators did a really good job with these animations. I especially like the little detail of V keeping their finger off the trigger when not firing.
It’s definitely not bad, but it sure is buggy. For me anyways, half the time V refuses to arm it when I press MMB, or the targeting UI will show up but the launcher won’t turn on, leaving me in a bind

I did find repeating bugs that pop up like my arms disappearing after use and it disabling the use of the PLS and my healing items so I can see what your on about. Im still gonna try and use it because against groups of enemies or ones taking cover it’s pretty useful.
If you build for it, it’s a beast. 2.0 increased its damage, and with the new relic perks and pyromania / doom launcher perks, you can fuck some serious shit up with the hand cannon.
I wish they pay more attention into the impact physic of objects on body and human interaction like Kenshi rather than health bar. If that happened, while one shot one kill is still very cool, every weapons have it worth and interesting to use. Consider this much weapons in store but some of them will become obsolete
Even if the healthbar stayed, there should definitely be more impact from certain guns. Like shotguns and snipers should almost always knock down, rifles should cause at least a half second of stun, and pistols could make enemies flinch and throw off their aim.
I don't knoww why but, I really love the arm mods. I really like how, obviously cybernetic they are I guess? It's really what scream "Cyberpunk" to me, I guess.
Yeah, I love the way they break down the human form, especially the mantis blades, they have a hint of body horror to them that is just peak Cyberpunk.

For the sequel we really need a real gun arm, the grenade launcher Is cool and All but It cant be a main weapon as the others are. A semi auto shotgun like the ones the dudes in upgrade had would be awesome, It would look really cool and fucked up to see our character reload HIS ARM, esoecially if its a tube magazine like in the movie puntting rounds from one on one
Rostović is the goat gun manufacturer. Not only that he made some sick double barrel shotguns,but he also made one of the if not the best precision rifle in the game.

I love how every gun has multiple animations so you never reload the same way twice. I can’t think of another shooter that does this it’s honestly groundbreaking
Every single pistol, single barrel shotgun, precision rifle, sniper rifle, every non-power SMG, Guillotine and Ajax: "Look at these beautiful and unique animations!" DB shotties, LMGs, almost every assault rifle and power SMG: "are we a joke to you?"
It's crazy that almost all the weapons in this game feel so different especially the sound effect. Even the same iconic hand gun that manufactured by the same company might give you a different animation/sounds just because it's have a different modification on it
About to do my first gameplay of cyberpunk 2077, choosing the loudest and devastating guns in the games, my enemies need to hear me from at least 50 miles away
now I do admire the mechanical prn of the cyber"punk" weapons, but something about the sleekness of the corpo weapons from ARASAKA just tingles my dingle if you know what I mean
This game will really give people some neat guns with genuinely interesting lore, then immediately toss them a better randomly generated one that immediately invalidates it because the devs played too many looter shooters and not enough RPGs.
I actually heavily underused the guns. I pretty much just used the Magnum revolver in my last playtrough and offcourse the mantis blades, in my first i was all fists and ocasional revolver.
i used to have the full wetworks game book but sadly some one broke into my place and stole my stuff and burned all my books in my driveway .. and i had just move to that town .. was told if i do not move out of that town by weeks end well i am in a new town but with noting but dreams . did not know people where do hate filled ....
I know how to replay the animations on pc If you want to replay the animation for a gun, melee weapon or anything equipabble just put it away. Once it’s away (for example the weapon is equipped in item slot 1 then hold down the “1” key and it will take it out like again but with the inspection animation. This can be done for all your weapons as long as you just hold the item slot button Instead of using scroll wheel or just tapping it.
How could they make Nowaki and Masamune a burst fire only rifles? These guns look like they should have an insane full-auto rate of fire along with insane damage! Design-wise they are the coolest, futuristic stylish guns and devs kill those guns with bullshit fire mode...

So for pc you put your weapon away Let’s say you want to use your pistols animation in slot ( 2 ) Hold down the “ 2 “ key on your keyboard and it will pull the weapon out with the inspection animation. This also works with melee weapons and cybernetic weapons. I don’t know how it works on console.
That's not an ordinary carnage, that's special variant belongs to Rebecca from the Edgerunner, named "Guts". It has humongous recoil compared to the normal Carnage
And also this probably happened cuz the player doesn't have enough points on "body" I noticed Carnage reacts very differently to different body levels. Never noticed it on my first run being a Bruiser but I def noticed it in my second run with Blades
Shame that the version of the game i played on Xbox one was shitty to hell otherwise i would've enjoyed it more especially cause the weapons, vehicles and overall story mode was great
Pretty much. No game breaking bugs really left just visual or AI ones sometimes. Any issues like bugged brightness are easily fixable by closing the game and opening again.
only game that feels next gen to me in terms of the immersion, the way that you can have relationships with some characters felt pretty new to me plus the amazing city and iconic plot
As someone who reads up on firearms (not a expert js an enthusiast), my brain hurts watching some of these guns like the sniper rifle and is anyone going to talk about how the barrel is observable when the magazine is taken out... Assuming that this is when electronics are used to fire, it makes sense and using a magazine as a stock is questionable but i guess the tolerance is very minimal even at high manufacturing rates. But seriously? The Techtronika SPT32 Grad. Like how, and why... Footnote, I am only commenting on that because it isn't realistic. Yes i know its just a game which is why im not picking on everything- Still, giving it to the animators and artists, its pretty well done except for the HK slap... other than that, its quite realisitic considering they are making these as futuristic firearms and not having any firearms that exist today
Personally I don't like CP2077's visual design Aleo can I get at least 1 sci-fi game where guns don't have unnecessary parts, their automatic movement and LED parts and at least slightly resemble a usable weapon

It reminds a lot of the augmentations from the Deux Ex prequels too. Especially the experimental ones from Mankind Divided.
