It's called ultimate edition because they're already done with this game so no more paid expansion which i found kinda sad because after 4 years, this game finally manage to attract many people especially because of how they manage to fix this game problems + Edgerunner

Na bro none of the weapons are anywhere realistic. They look cool, sure but are a ergonomic and weight distribution nightmare. Some shotguns dont even have a stock. If it was realistic they rather be all AR15 types, but it would be really boring to look at

One of the reason why i love cyberpunk's sci fis, not only the guns design look futurustic, but also realistic in mechanism and design wise, beside the guns, i also love how the devs make the cars, its probably the only game where i feel like i want the cars in real life, theres barely any game that creates fiction car as good as cp2077
Errr... yes, devs should always try to do a redemption arc. The fact that many don't, makes Cyberpunk's and NMS's arc so much better. Ideally devs shouldn't fuck up their releases to a point that they need one, anyway.

Yes! Expansions/DLCs usually end up exceeding the base game because the devs have all the experience of making the base game and know what works. It's super cool to see how they got to go wild with creativity for PL.
Im a really big fan of the precision rifles. And the sound of the kolac/hypercritical is just so so good. The massive THUNK of the bolt and the echo effect that can be heard well after the shot. Super satisfying.
Aw, they still haven't fixed the muzzle brake on the Grad rifle. It floats in mid air, not attached to the barrel when reloading. Only Overwatch variant shows the suppressor moving like the muzzle brake should.
I would’ve liked to see the targeting reticle on the smart weapons because they’re different. (If that’s possible with these HUD options) It would also be nice to know the status effects/quirks of the iconic variants.
Tbh I wish there were more firearms/firearm colorations/attachment options and I wish some of the more standard PL firearms were in the rest of the game’s leveled list. I guess eventually mods will handle that, as well as Orion
In my opinion, Cyberpunk2077 did a better job at the futuristic model and animation of guns than Starfield. Although I know that Besthesda never focus on animation, they had a good model but it was always cursed.😆
After Fallout 3 Bethesda has never put any thought into having great weapon designs for most of their guns. It's just a fact that Starfields guns are horrible. There is no way most of them could function properly.
Yeah. I hope they unlock the fire rate in the next game. At base, I want every semi-auto gun to fire as fast as I can pull the trigger. Or at least upgrade to that point.

Starfield makes me appreciate CDPR's attention to detail even more. On their first try with brand new tech, they made something more solid, better designed, and better than Bethesda 3 times over. These guns are miles and miles above Fallout's and Starfield's though i wish we got some modified classic guns like some future AK from the in-universe soviet union and at least one laser gun since they exist in the lore but are ass to use iirc
Fallout's weapons fit a certain aesthetic, that being the retro-futuristic style. But yeah, CP2077's weapon style feel more grounded in reality, like they could feasibly exist in the future.
@@royearle1673 they do fit an aesthetic but there's also no good excuse for how poorly designed they are, Bethesda seems to barely have an inkling as to how guns work (it'd be fine if they went more sci-fi but even starfield doesn't escape it). I think it also waters down the retrofuturism of the setting since there's many great avenues you can go down to reinforce the pulpy atompunk/raypunk aesthetic that Fallout has. Make unique guns based on Cold War Era guns like the Galil or G11 or more recent guns like having chinese assault rifles based on the QBZ-95 since it'd create a unique design and silhouette. Cyberpunk clearly does this in own its way, you can clearly place the inspiration behind some guns, while also adapting some really cool eccentric ideas like how Johnny's gun and the Metel revolvers are based on the Landstad 1900 which is a magazine-fed revolver. My favorite example for this is Halo which took the pretty standard pump action shotgun and made it unique, distinct, and futurey by making it load from the top.

The db-2 Satara is a good example: clearly it's a double barrel shotgun, but it's been altered in such a way that it matches the environment it's in.
The only thing i “kinda” dislike is that i feel that they had more fun and creativity designing the ranged weapons compared to the melee ones even if this is probably the best melee in a first person game. While with guns they did an outstanding job of sfx, vfx, visual detailing in which many pf the moving parts of the gun moving and giving a lot of personality, the melee weapons barely have interesting animations or sfx to make it reach the job done with the guns. The katanas are beautiful but really guys ? No work on the silhouette? No special mechanism that could enhance the uniqueness of some of the inconic ones ? Also, why no dual wielding? Like seriously, a revolver having acess to some katana moves when pressing Q would be really cool or even maybe a one hand katana with a knife on the other hand. Its “sad” because you can clearly see genius work to make the melee combat feel snappy and with amazing feedback and this extra features would make it one of a kind. Its not a complaining but sad that there wont be a better melee fps game i wish i could see the extra mile for the already amazing melee system
It's loosely based on the real-world Landstad magazine-fed "revolver" from the turn of the century. Still cursed, mind you, there's a reason the Landstad flopped in military trials and was never copied by anyone else, but still. Not as unrealistic as you'd think.
waaay too many boring reskins that literally aren't different from each other in any way. All guns, especially the smaller cal., have way too much of a kick, and pistols with a slide operate way too slow.

I love the sound design for all of the different guns, both firing the guns to reloading the guns to handling the guns, I love sound design

Its “sad” because you can clearly see genius work to make the melee combat feel snappy and with amazing feedback and this extra features would make it one of a kind. Its not a complaining but sad that there wont be a better melee fps game i wish i could see the extra mile for the already amazing melee system

It's loosely based on the real-world Landstad magazine-fed "revolver" from the turn of the century. Still cursed, mind you, there's a reason the Landstad flopped in military trials and was never copied by anyone else, but still. Not as unrealistic as you'd think.
The department of designing these weapons were all professionals and then the company decided to let middle schoolers rigging the motions
waaay too many boring reskins that literally aren't different from each other in any way. All guns, especially the smaller cal., have way too much of a kick, and pistols with a slide operate way too slow.
