Can confirm after 15 years as a touring artist that this is in fact 100% true.

That was great. Can you offer some tips on point three? I was at a very cool DJ party in the park a few weeks ago..but I didn't feel like networking. I felt like dancing.

In my opinion, because I am really old school... networking should happen organically. Even if you are at an event that is specifically for NETWORKING. You never know when networking is going to happen. Mainly, just get out into the world and into different places. Keep your eye out for opportunities to meet people because you never know who you are going to meet.

I'm guilty of not collaborating with other artists/producers. I'm so much of a loner when it comes to my music and releasing it, I guess it's an ego thing where I don't want folks saying I made it only because they put me on. That and being able to release my own music without having to be put on the back burner with other artists on labels. I'm trying to get out of that mindset though and put myself out there more, start submitting to other labels and collaborating with other DJs/Producers.

Totally feel you on this!! Your music is such a personal thing so I completely understand!! At the same time, there’s a whole new world of opportunities when working with others. Its all about balance at the end of the day. You’re in control of the ship…do what makes you happy! ♥️👊

@@TheCosmicAcademy I absolutely agree, which is why (although very difficult for me) I'm starting to finally "come out my shell". Appreciate the response!

Hey guys! I know you operate in the US, but is there a plan for you to also have the academy running classes in European timezone? Would love to join but as for the time difference, normally the classes are during AM times here in EU, which makes it incompatible for us having a 9-5 job at the same time. Having said that, congrats! Great video and great channel!

♥️ Maybe at some point in the future. We do have students from Europe in every bootcamp we run. The time difference can be rough but it hasn’t stopped em!

I think those concepts just apply for the 90% of producers that they are not good enough and maybe could live and play as an minor artist. The big names they actually are VERY talented; Martin garrix, Calvin Harris, avicii, Afrojack, Chris lake, and go on. You can notice it in the quality of every record that they release.
