I run a commercial pressure washing business. 15 years, run all 8 GPM hot water skids, full reclaim on everything. Your first unloader is speced completely appropriately. It’s not a very good one, in its quality, it’ll only last a year or two before it starts bouncing, but it won’t be the main point of restriction, or even a point of restriction, or cause any flow problems whatsoever. Use those unloaders a lot. They’re fine, and for the price they’re appropriate! The only point of flow restriction in a system, is the number 9 nozzle orifice in your wand. That things job is to out restrict all other restrictions, and work the motor good and hard ☺️. I still run every single Honda engine I’ve ever owned, daily! 1000’s of hours on all of them, the oldest ones are 15 years old, run as good as they did on day 1. I haven’t done plugs on any them more than twice. I’m dead serious. Did one of two ignition coils on one of them, a charge coil on one other one, after I hosed them down one freezing morning with hot water to thaw them out a couple years ago. They’re so good. 7 of them! Unbelievably SOLID and reliable engine. Years and years and years, running them hard, all day, just wailing on them, never gotten even one of them to give up, or even start running bad... lol. Honda’s are F***ing amazing! If you want some helpful info: Mechanized Cleaning Solutions (.con) or on TH-cam. I help contractors learn to start reclaiming wash water ☺️
@@housewashing5693 Nice those are really good to work with in some situations! Can be bad in other situations. the main reason why we don't run those, is the reason why most people want them. when you let off the trigger it dumps all the pressure in the hose and goes limp when the pump is in bypass mode. It's generally not good for us, because our hoses are constantly getting run over by cars, so we manage hose pressure carefully, and never let an uncharged/unpressurized hose get run over, they last longer. When they get run over limp, it causes them to blow sooner when the hoses get to many crimps in the structural steel belting.
They seize because the shaft coming out of the motor can be very slightly too long. I was told to put some washers on the bolts that attach it to the motor to act as spacers.
That can be the case. But after contacting the manufacturer on just how long the shaft can be I was well within specs. I also measured it to be safe. But yes, you need to make sure there is no interference where shims would be needed.
Great job. I have a similar setup, Vanguard 35hp TSF2021 triple belt with i think the same 1/2" unloader and 1/2" hose to the reel. I plan to put the first 50+ feet on reel to 1/2" as well, i just been procrastinating on that part. Yeah its frustrating that they only have a 3/8 outlet on the pump.
