If Cambridge gets their ribbons right, I would agree. There was a time when Cambridge had the best text block; but now we have the 2K font.
I hope you enjoy your Concord. Mark it up brother. Take notes in it, or use a side journal, but don't be afraid to highlight. Be sure to use Pigma Micron pens. The archival ink is best for writing in Bibles. Thanks for watching. God's best to you and yours.

I HAVE THIS ONE. BUT IN TURQUOISE. ALSO HAVE CONCORD..but IN CALFSKIN. 8 POINT FONT IS A BIT TO SMALL FOR ME.. I FORGOT I HAD IT ! A nice surprise. CONCORD WAS MY FIRST SERIOUS B8BLE AROUND 1968..1969. I STILL HAVE IT.

Good Bible. I got it on sale for $165. Amazing bibles they have.
It was advertised as a full yap edition. It is not a full yap. Other than that, a nice Bible.
I USED TO HAVE CONCORD. NOW BIGGER PRINT OF TURQUOISE IS MY FAVOURITE. I HARDLY USE RIBBONS. I DID NOT GET FULL YAPP. BUT PARTIAL. I LIKE IT. I GREW UP READ8NG KJV SO NOT A PROBLEM FOR ME. BUT SOME OF MY GRAND NIECES USE NASB I HAVE GIFTED FOR CLARITY.

I love the snow. Our Trailblazer is almost as big as our F150, and it handles the snow well. I think I will be putting some new tires on soon. Just to carry us through the winter. We are well prepared! Thanks to God for his provision!!!

I'm torn between this one and the Schuyler ESV full-size with full yapp. This one I lean towards due to portability and the dark font. Translation to me isn't a huge issue. I take my ESV PSQ to Church since my Church uses the ESV.
Somehow what caught my eye is not the Cambridge Concord but the CBP hardcover pew bible that is part of the book-stack.
I got that from Steve. It's a great reader.

CAMBRIDGE DOES RED LETTER RIGHT. BOLD 10 POINT FONT. WITH 11 POINT LEADING. READS VERY GOOD...DARK CAMBRIDGE FONT.
It's ok, but I prefer black letter today.
I agree, the red letter is out of this world. Best I've encountered with any of my Bibles.

Robert did your bible arrive with straight ribbons? Thinking about getting this bible but wondering if it's worth the 200. I really want a nice premium that's blue with blue/silver gilt so I'm thinking Cambridge / Schuyler are options at this point. I need to decide if I want Topaz or Concord ;/

Hah, that is so sad, but I have to laugh, because it is so true. They boast about their quality craftsmanship, but they just can't get those ribbons right.

I carry mine in the box
I throw the boxes in the garbage. I want my Bible to have a worn look. It means I am using it.
Not to say that you are not using your Bible, but there is an obvious testimony to unbelievers around us when they see a well used Bible. As always, it is your choice to use the box. Do as the Lord leads you. It is certainly not something to divide over.

That's cool. I tuck mine under my shirt when it rains. My main reason for even mentioning it is to keep the collectors at bay. I have seen those that have hundreds of bibles, but they won't part with one of them. They keep them in boxes and use them for TH-cam videos. That is not good. I am determined to never idolize anything. What is most important... the cover and gilding or the words on the pages? We know it's the words, so why do we get so freaked out over goatskin leather, full yaps and edge lining?
I give away good bibles because it is a blessing to have a strong library; so why should I not want the same for you all? My greatest concern is for the growth and understanding of the church. That comes from a healthy diet of the scriptures alone. If I can ever be of help in this healthy search through God's word, please let me know. Jesus loves you and we love you.

I no longer have that Bible. I do not recall seeing such a sticker. If you need the ISBN, I believe it was revealed in the video. If not, you can find it at evangelicalbible.com. It is listed at $225.00 USD, but worth every penny, and then some. I hope this helps. Thanks for checking in brother.
