What part of Europe are you from? I've caught lots of walleye but have never caught a Zander... Yet! I'll be heading your way in November for the Kayak Fishing World Championship in Portugal. I'm so excited Zander is one of the target species 🎣🎣
@@ChuckEarls awesome, I appreciate it. I have two sets of the Redirigs but leave clipped on rather then sliding I would lie to start letting them slide lie you are.
Just always remember to keep your shoulders inside the kayak. The best way to gain stability and confidence is to flip the kayak over on purpose and practice getting back in. Once you learn the point of no return and how to self rescue you’ll feel a whole lot more comfortable and stable out there. Good luck walleye fishing 🎣🎣 th-cam.com/video/GIRdGEOIivE/w-d-xo.html
Hey man. I live in willoughby and just got a kayak. I have only walleye fished once but the water looks calm and the fish were biting. Time? Date? How far off shore and depth? Just would help me a lot. Looks like a blast.
Be carful, those conditions in this video are damn near perfect water - ive had days where the chop is so bad i cant even get out of the launch site! Watch the weather, water reports, etc and make sure you have your safety gear on and everything else tied down!!
1 rule on Lake Erie…. You head out on calm weather expect to come back in rough weather and vice versa. It changes so quickly out here we must prepare for all situations
Awesome video never did walleye before because we don’t have many of them here but it looks so fun they fight good where we live it is more bass and trout still really exciting though😊
I run 7'6 rods for trolling boards. I've tried running longer rods but getting line wrapped around the tip of a 10' trolling rod can be interesting at times.
I really do try to keep any kind of land out of the backgrounds of my videos but it’s proven to be near impossible most of the time. Seems like I never have the open water in my background when the fish hit. I will do my very best to be more aware 🎣
U guys got sum steel balls going out on Erie in yaks
Absolute GLASS conditions!
It was a beautiful day out there, nice grade of fish that day too 🎣
You guys should do a video crossing ake erie and fishing on those yaks. Or cross the Atlantic or something
In Europe we call those fish Zander

Thank you!! And you’re correct. It’s going to look a lot different once they tear that power plant down
Sweet😁😁
Nice Video! Just odd I didn't know you can use 3 poles in Ohio.
Thank you!! In Ohio 3 rods per angler is permitted on Lake Erie waters only

Looks like a blast! With your experience, would this be doable in a Sportsman 106 PDL?
Yessir the 106 can do it but longer is always better on big water 🎣🎣 th-cam.com/video/v-MLtPMm8M4/w-d-xo.html
@@ChuckEarls I've got a Sportsman 132 pdl on the way!
@@toddhill6396 Awesome!! Congratulations!! 🎣🎣
this is the kid you sent the lures and gopro to OMG at TENNESSEE

What type of kayak are you using?
I'm in an Old Town BigWater PDL 132
this is an awesome video man. I'm looking to get up to Erie soon on my yak. What is the best rod length for trolling boards out of a kayak?
I run 7'6 rods for trolling boards. I've tried running longer rods but getting line wrapped around the tip of a 10' trolling rod can be interesting at times.
Awesome
it would be nice if you would leave the land marks out of your videos.
I think everyone that recognizes this place would have already been familiar with fishing it. What is the harm in showing it?
