I saw people put jams and compotes on the bottom of the dish and it turned out fine after baking so I believe you can. They also made a whipped cream with jam mixed into it as well if you’re still interested!
I followed this recipe exactly and failed miserably. The first step was too thick, like cookie dough. Then the whole thing was too runny, like pancake batter. What went wrong? I rewatched and found no mistakes. I really want to make this!

Measure exact amounts on tray then follow exactly… mixing the egg whites is a lot longer than shown.
Thanks for this advice! It seems like two egg yolks isn't enough to make the first part that smooth. I will try again!
You don’t normally put milk on bottom but some butter to grease the bottom and spoonfuls of jam or chocolate or Nutella and then the mixture over that
