Over 20% of the population remains illiterate, and a significant portion relies on subsidized food programs. Building expensive toll roads excludes many who cannot afford them. A more comprehensive approach is needed to address these issues.
This is because USA hiked interest rates to control inflation rate in usa and so did other European countries. So our reserves in foreign currencies amounting to abt 650 b usd got good interests from govt bonds.

Instead of giving the amount to govt, if RBI purchase gold and increase its reserves it will strengthen rupee and it will become global currency
Last year it was 0.8 lakh crores... this year it was 2.11 lakhs... seems like the profit was reduced last year to show an increased profit in election year...
