I work for UPS. If you reach out to their business development team, they can get you a truck that will show up and pick up your packages every day you print out a thermal label.
That is a tough call but the right one. No good business person goes into business to lose money. It will work out and in time no one will remember the change especially if they are getting quality product for a great price.

This is the primary reason I buy the bulk of my livestock from local fish stores or fellow hobbyists on Craig's List. Shipping a delicate animal the size of a Dixie Cup (or smaller) across the country via overnight is just so wasteful (dare I say "decadent"), that I just can't do it in good conscience any more. Maybe if I was setting up a new tank and buying dozens of frags, but not for a couple of frags at a time that I typically buy.
Gotta make money some way lol, just cam from your tang video about aggressive tangs i've had a blue powder and sailfin tang in a 200 gallon tank the sailfin seems to be getting bullied by the blue powder just today he ripped a bit of the sailfins fin off any advice on that? I can't take him out as i've got nowhere else to put him currently
shipping constantly goes up because of the cost of fuel and labor. You are not doing nothing wrong, you are just passing the operating cost to the customer who should be the one paying for it. It is best to be upfront with the cost, I know I appreciate it and if I can afford it, I will be pay for it.
You’re not amazon or any bulk business that can afford this kind of loss-hopefully you’ll get to that level soon. Could also offer set shipping for orders above a certain dollar amount.
I can't think of another place to buy coral where I can see video of the mother colony, I know it's all aquacultured and not mariacultered , know I am not going to get aptasia, ich cysts, and other pests from it, know the parameters it's grown in are in the middle of the range which is going to give me a great shot with it, I know it's par it's coming from.. The list of benefits goes on and on. If someone gives you crap about this new way of handling shipping then screw em!

My clients who love me will pay and those who can't afford my price can go price shop somewhere else. One of the number one failures of new businesses is failure to do market research and price your services so that you can grow. The people who don't or are underpriced go out of business.

When setting up a frag tank, do you cycle it the same way you cycle a standard reef tank?

Why don’t you 3D print an instantaneous transport machine and you could just beam the coral to where it needs to go? Seems like an easy fix to me.

Yea coral is the only thing going overnight, everything else is usps flat rate or ups ground
add a free shipping thing also spend this much get free shipping you will be amazed at how many ppl will do that instead of paying for shipping.
