Set in the influential New York music scene of the early '60s, A Complete Unknown follows 19-year-old Minnesota musician Bob Dylan's meteoric rise as a folk singer to concert halls and the top of the charts -- his songs and mystique becoming a worldwide sensation -- culminating in his groundbreaking electric rock and roll performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.
A Complete Unknown stars Timothée Chalamet, Elle Fanning, Boyd Holbrook, Edward Norton, Monica Barbaro, Scoot McNairy, and more. The film is directed by James Mangold and written by Jay Cocks and James Mangold as well.
A Complete Unknown is coming to theaters in December 2024.

Seems like he's doing about as well as Joaquin Phoenix did Johnny Cash, at least on vocals. But he just seems too healthy and optimistic to be Dylan, IMO.
Hoping whatever they do with this biopic on the greatest poet/songwriter/storyteller ever...that the great man himself appears somewhere in film...never before never again..no artist has ever come anywhere near him....yeah im a lifelong bobfan...😊
