Great show today guys, I support Arsenal and I think depending on the severity Martin Ødegaard injury I would bring beck for the Liverpool game. Need our best players. I hope you get Thierry on the show and Bergkamp. Think Ian Wright would love it 😂😂 As a suggestion maybe invite Arteta on the show and Arsene Wenger. ALL the best guys!
I've recently had a total knee replacement operation as well, followed by an ankle fusion surgery as well. I hope Wrighty's knee surgery is better than mine because my knee feels totally fucked up, ankles not great either. If I knew what I know now 12 months ago I wouldn't have let the "surgeon's" any where near me, the arthritis was never this bad.
Hope you’re okay mate
@@smuzz2179 I've been better
Most teams had at _least_ 5 first teamers out for a chunk of last season - Arsenal were extraordinarily lucky that they didn't have many injuries to contend with.
Chelsea, Newcastle, Liverpool, Man U had _loads_ of players out. Even City had KDB and Haaland out for quite long periods.
Liverpool had two injured in the same match vs Brentford, it was mental. That's why we ended up playing a team of kids vs Chelsea in the league cup and why we had to rotate the kids in vs Arsenal in the FA Cup.
That's why you have a _squad_ and not a team.

Keane is unbelievably brilliant! I used to absolutely despise anyone related to United, but this boys are great to listen to, especially Roy.
Super six Roy “we’ll go a Desmond “ for the 2-2 😂😂
Says it every week and still not funny
Great show again. Neville makes great points as always, so frustrating that his points get missed and people just keep cutting him off
Gray Neville - Liverpool have a back 5 that play together mire than any other team - Alisson currently injured & Konate has missed plenty of games. This guy is so misinformed about Liverpool
They've still played together more than any other back 4 given they've been there the last few years. Which other team has had an unchanged back 4 over the last few seasons?
@@Calamari5saliba and Gabriel played every game
@@andrewwright4195 right, that's not a back 5 is it... Raya came in, Timber came in, Calafiori came in
Gomez, Bradley, quansah started for most of last season, kelleher played a load of games too. And tsimikas. Matip was starting before that...@@Calamari5
@@Calamari5Trent and Robbo have both had spells out. Van Dijk has had time out and when in has had too put up with constant injuries to Matip, Gomez, Konate. Allison has missed games in the last three seasons with injuries that have kept him out for six weeks or more. It's all a nonsense.
Great again, say it every week. The overlap is the best football podcast out there.
Scholes talking the most sense on this today.
Lol no he's not. He's a dinosaur.
@@barryryan1070 100% agree absolute dinosaur. Has nothing creative/tactical to add, sits like a sad uncle. And the hate towards Arsenal is so obvious.
Totally agree with Roy on Anderson being a big loss for Palace. Understood why they sold him one year to go with his age £20/30 mill is a good price but they needed to bring in someone with premier league experience as a replacement. Big risk not paying off atm. There was a big love in for Glazner last year but his form come along side Olise and Eze coming back into the team. With Olise and Anderson moving on it’s hurt them bad. Mateta had no summer rest neither
Funny we’re talking about injuries now when it comes to Arsenal, United were missing most their players last season and were told to get on with it
gary is so out of touch with the real world. last week he thought he was the only one who’s dunked a custard cream in tea. and this week questioning what movemeber is 😂😂
I like your man's banter in response to Keano when trying to get him to sign stuff "weird that isn't it". 😂

Englands biggest problem for me is trying to put all the best players into the starting 11 rather than putting the best starting 11 out to win a game.
When they put out a starting 11 where everybody fits, the fans moan that all the best players have been left out. Can't win.
The whole media and country are worried about the nationality of the manager of England. I'm more concerned that as a country, we do not have world class managers to choose from........
You haven't since the 90's. Even then, it was slim pickings. Probably 80's since there were a few to choose from.
Why y'all worried about nationality of the managers, which England manager last one the champions League... you're not that good, get a coach that can win you something, nuff said.
English manager never won Prem. Crazy Stat.
That's the point..... there isn't a top class English manager to choose from.... people like you always make it political
