I haven't owned Elite model but I would assume very similar to most other Daiwa reels. Most of the time I don't remove the roller clutch, I'll just clean with a Q-Tip and some Isopropyl Alcohol and re-apply light coat of oil on rollers. If you need to remove it be very careful because the roller cage is made of plastic and easy to damage. Try pushing it out with a small socket that fits the housing perfectly, you should be able to push it out with hand pressure.
