    All I can say is OMG, you have created paradise on earth, your house is so so beautiful, my wife and myself have been to turkey many time’s over the years, we love turkey 🇹🇷,we want to retire there, we want a village life like yours so we were wondering how much money we would need to buy a house like yours, look forward to hearing from yourself, by the way we love watching your videos, many thanks in advance 🙏🏿🙏🏿

      This village has become very popular with Turkish people in the last few years. You already pay 75.000 or more euro just for 500 meter land with 20 percent building permission. You just have to look around a lot. Villages more inland still have great buys. The build we did for a big part ourselves so I can not put a price to it. Google on a town and emlak and you will get price wise. I bought the land in 2000 when it was cheap.

    Your home and garden are beautiful; thank you for sharing. I can imagine how much work it all must have been. One question: did you buy the Adirondack chairs (maybe you know them by another name) seen around 4:05 ready made here in Turkey? Did you build them yourself according to plans? As a Canadian in Turkey, I am resigned to building them myself ... but when I saw yours, thought I'd ask. Thanks in advance!

    • @AtHomeInTurkey
      @AtHomeInTurkey  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The chairs made a long journey. Made in Canada, bought in Holland. They moved to Turkey, got blown to bits in a storm about 3 times but are still going strong. I am sure you can find good drawings with sizes online. Any Turkish carpenter should be able to make them for you.

  • @ike4425

    A house in Dalyan that sits on an acre like yours costs at least 600K to 750K Euro. I have just checked apr. cost of a 110 sq meter house in Dalyan and it had price tag of 200K Euro.

    • @AtHomeInTurkey
      @AtHomeInTurkey  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not in Dalyan and yes this area became very popular and expencive. I live in a small village close to Dalyan and it's cheaper but getting more expencive every year. I bought my land 20 years ago when the prices here in Candir where very low.
