    Cilantro, also referred to as Chinese parsley, is the tender soft green leaves of the coriander plant, Coriandrum sativum. Although the leaves are widely used as a culinary herb and raw garnish, both the leaf and stem can also be used for therapeutic purposes, especially when consumed in higher amounts through blending, juicing or as an extract concentrate.
    Learn more about the top 3 health benefits of cilantro and its researched effects on detoxifying heavy metals from the body.

    I make fast soup with cilantro or eat them raw. When I cook cilantro, I make sure I don't put it in until the broth is ready to eat because I don't want to kill the raw ingredient. I can eat a pound of cilantro and a pound of peppermint leaves in one serving. I know! I am weird. Because I eat tons of raw vegetables, my friends always say I eat rabbit food :) I am telling you, eating herbal vegetables make you body light and mind focused.

    We Had a bunch of Volunteer cilantro pop up and when I picked it all back, it was probably an arm load and used it all and filled a pint jar and then also put it in ice cube trays and then once it’s frozen, we take it out and put the Ziploc bag and we use them as cilantro shots but I’ve got parsley, shots and spinach shots also because I’m making a smoothie or we wanna throw it in some fresh juice that we just may make an extra cold. We can add the ice cube in there and we grow ourselves so we get an abundance of it, and want to put this nutrient, rich, phytochemical, amazing healing juice to heal us. 3 going on 4 weeks of juicing and we are feeling improved health we got a way to go yet.

      Probably because it tastes like soap to some people. I would love to be able to enjoy cilantro but it tastes like I'm eating a bar of soap. It's genetic. Scientists were able to pin down most cilantro haters as people with a shared group of olfactory-receptor genes, called OR6A2, that pick up on the smell of aldehyde chemicals. Aldehyde chemicals are found in both cilantro and soap. I did not give the video a thumbs down though! 😊

      I have some cilantro that comes back for me by self seeding. Dill does the same thing for me. I don't disturb the soil. The white flowers on the cilantro really draw the bees, and I think they are pretty.
      I am in Texas zone 9. Both the cilantro and dill do well through the winter here. I think people can add these plants to informal naturalized flower gardens as the taller elements and pick from them for herbs. I had saved a lot of seeds, but haven't had to use them.
      Commercial farming would be done differently overall, but you can start out this way in growing and enjoying, building up seed stock, getting your soil in shape.

    I really wish I could enjoy Cilantro!! But I'm one of those people who taste soap when I eat it. It's genetic. Scientists were able to pin down most cilantro haters as people with a shared group of olfactory-receptor genes, called OR6A2, that pick up on the smell of aldehyde chemicals. Aldehyde chemicals are found in both cilantro and soap.

      Coriander powder is made the hard, light brown seed, dried & ground up. Cilantro powder or flakes are the green stem & leaves of the same plant, dried & ground up.

    My holistic Dr told me not to take cilantro until AFTER all the metal was removed. He said it could make my metal toxicity worse because cilantro can make the metals enter the brain because cilantro can cross the blood brain barrier. What is your opinion ?

      Did u end up eating the cilantro?

    • @TODD7
      @TODD7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      100% correct, the cilantro would just pull more metals from fillings and redistribute it in other areas of the body causing more damage. If you are really heavy metal toxic I wouldn't be messing with cilantro/ chlorella for detoxing metals. A good start would be looking into Andy Cutler Chelation about how to go about safely doing a mercury detox. There's other methods too to remove mercury like OSR or a good sauna protocol with Niacin by Dan Root. If your adrenals are good I would stick with sauna and use a binder like estrosgel 30 minutes before going in the sauna. It would probably take 1-2 years to detox using a sauna if you use sauna 3-4 times per week. Everyone has different genetics.
