Awesome! I am so glad the video helped. i was working on my project jacobsen tractor in the video. Sadly, i got rid of it and migrated to car work. Hopefully more videos coming out soon.
So Basically... it's really simple. Just wire all your wires, and once you learn this, you know how to do wiring. Coz you know, basically, it's really simple.
I'm not saying all electrical is easy im just saying that this is a good way to get your foot in the door. I respect everybody in all trades. all trades have their difficulties. sorry, I'm only a teenager so maybe find somebody with more experience.
@@CountrysideMechanic mad respect to you countryside. For not even trying to be a ass to someone that was being a smart ass about your video. Glad u don't let people like so discouraged you. There is still more to learn but with everything I know about wiring and engines your video helped my yard get mowed. Thanks for your time.
ALL of those 5 prong switches are NOT the same, so a 5 prong switch may plug INTO the harness plug but the prongs go to different things, may very well FRY something
positive. negative is always ground. what goes to the negative terminal is a wire connected to any peice of metal...such as the frame. Have a blessed day!
What tab does the small wire hook to on the switch that goes from the tab on the solenoid to the key switch. You almost said it twice but then never said which tab/letter on the key switch. Did you bypass all your safety switches? I'm planning on doing that.
@user-wz3yj6qr7c Sorry for the late response, i know this is too late, but just in case you still need help, that wire goes from the solenoid to the "S" tab on the switch.
Wire to the ignition switch goes "S" terminal.
You’re totally my hero right now. Re-wiring the solenoid on an old tractor. I had no idea till I saw this video. Thank you!

Much appreciated video !!!!
Wires from safety switches go to the ignition key or to the starter selenoide?
They should just go to the solenoid. The safety switches were bypassed on my tractor.
Thank you ❤

Not very good instructions... you say the rt side goes to battery...BUT DOES IT GO TO THE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE TERMINAL OF THE BATTERY?
positive. negative is always ground. what goes to the negative terminal is a wire connected to any peice of metal...such as the frame. Have a blessed day!
