Full pool and surround clean up

      Oh. Look up the marines training pool at Pendleton I think. The really big pool, I’ve watched videos recently of someone doing repair work underwater there on TH-cam.

      Thank God! I was angry that you were putting in so much time and effort with that underpowered sprayer. Those sprayers are good for routine upkeep and car washing. Not heavy cleaning

    I remember back in the 90.s I was working with a builder doing a back garden indoor pool . The pool was a fibreglass mould blue and massive with a sloped deep part it must have been 35 feet long and 18 feet wide . The pump system was amazing . Built outside in brick work unit . Was an experience to do.

    I would work from above the deck on trimming bushes first, then pressure wash deck, then clean pool.

      Probably wanted to get the pool shocked first since it is a timley process. While thats happening he can clean deck. The problem isn't dirt or leaves, thats easy to clean. Pool vacs can take care of that. Algea is the real nemesis in pool cleaning.

      I would of drain the pool too and gave it a good scrub. God knows how long that water has been in there. And that power doesn’t look very powerful.

    For the floor surfaces, a patio cleaner attachment would save you so much time versus the jet wash.

      Tbh I tried that attachment and it didn’t work as well! But having a bigger jet wash deffo would have helped

      Treating the area with pool shock will make life easy too if you don’t like the surface cleaner. Just spray some on in a pump sprayer.

      Yeah those round patio attachment thingys are a joke. I got one for my 4400 psi washer and had to go back to my old quick connect tips and free hand it

    Good job, but why not leave the pool covered until all the deck cleaning was done, then clean the pool? Seems like that would prevent getting the gleaned pool all nasty again??

      my best guess is that the customer only asked for the surround to be cleaned AFTER they finished the pool

    Awesome transformation ! Wouldn’t it have been easier, less time consuming and best to have cleaned cement decking first, pool second? A lot of dirt, chemical, debris from deck went back into pool after you cleaned pool. I know you vacuum pool last, but to me made sense to clean in opposite order of your video. Great job thou!

      Because he has the shock treat the pool, which means overdosing the pool with chemicals then leave it to filter through for about 24 hours to restore the water to a certain clarity and pH level before he can fine tweak the finish balance a day later makes perfect sense to do it this way

    I'm so glad you did the whole area! It's so frustrating to watch when people just have the pool serviced or restored and ignore the surround.
    All the leftover dirt is goes right back in the pool. Plus, wet, dirty, algae covered rock/tile is so slippery. Somebody going to fall and crack a tooth!
    (Yikes, I've turned into my Mum.)

    I'm glad for you that you have job ,but it still hurts to see how neglected pool or backyard can get. I know , sometimes homeowners don't have time , money or health for that kind of work, but its really sad to see it .

    Not sure why you uncovered, then cleaned the pool before removing the debris and power washing. 🤔 But final result was great.

      @@englishruraldoggynerd it really depends, preparing the pool for like summer must cost lower than cleaning a poll that was unused for 10 years

      @@thecapeisout our weather is too changeable to have pools. We don’t have enough sunshine to get any use out of it. Plus the average space allotted to most homes is far too small to fit any pool of a decent size.

    1st- PRESSURE WASH AND CLEAN EVERYTHING, ALL THE STONE AND BRICK.
    2nd- CLEAN THE POOL

      Hes gonna clean the pool anyways, it has all the chemicals that will kill the bacteria and algae. Not a big deal
