I have the delta pro sitting where your cooler does with the rear seats removed. I was thinking of sitting the wave on top of that and making a more permanent set up by taking one of the far rear windows out (the smaller one that slides outward ) the window comes out fairly easy. There’s a ball joint on the arm that pops out w ease. I took out the read seats and the mid seats for storage built a level platform. My cooler and the delta prow sit where t he third row seats were in the stow and go position

Get the Ecoflow Delta Pro. 3.6 kw of power. Best part - The Delta Pro can charge using a level 2 ev charging station. You need to order an adapter from ecoflow to charge at the ev. Eliminates carrying solar panels. Game changer. I’m not sure if you’re full time in your van or not but the Delta Pro is the answer either way. Especially for full time van life. Delta Pro plus the Wave 2, good to go.
The whole ev thing is nice if you are constantly moving around by a charge station, but if off grid in the woods you want solar. The good thing about the delta pro is you can run dc to dc so it’ll save some power that otherwise would be lost.

One thing you can do with big bread rolls is scoop out some bread from the inside. You can get more fillings in that way. Save that excess bread for croutons, breadcrumbs, or whatever else you like.

When I'm hunting on the MN woods and I hit a split in the trail, I make an arrow with a couple sticks in the path you need to take back. Especially if you hit a few along the way.
Very smart, all it takes is one time of making a wrong direction and it can become a serious situation
@@TolbersCamping agreed, lost my truck once on a spiderweb of trails, had a bit of a panic. Found before full dark. Learned my lesson.
Great review. I use a GE 5kBTU portable unit in my hightop cargo van. I recently used it on the dehumidifier setting and it cooled the air almost as well as the ac setting while make it quite dry in the van. I got 2 quarts of water every hour and a half.
Nice, that should be similar in performance as the wave 2 is 5100 btu.
@@TolbersCamping I hope you do a few more reviews on this ac as you camp. My GE is big and bulky and takes up quite a bit of floor space. I originally looked into these like Zero Breeze, but cost was prohibitive with mixed reviews for a van my size. I'm revisiting buying one when this one goes.

Thanks and not really. I just listen to my spirit for peace before I do something. If I feel God says I’m fine I don’t worry about it. I go and do things He leads me to do.

how long does it take to refill the batteries verses how much juice it uses, i need to watch you past videos to see, but the only question I had was the drink-ability of that ac water.
You can charge it much faster with solar while the sun is out then it takes while running. I wouldn’t drink the water straight out of the bottle, but after using one of those filtration things it would probably be good to go.
Great video as always. Next time maybe you should take water and a SOS device in case something happens. I carry my ZOLEO whenever I get out in the woods. Did you know a person can bleed to death in a snap? Always carry some emergency kit. Well I would. Great info on the air conditioner. I guess that arctic air one was trash?
My phone thankfully has satellite for emergency calls, so I always have that on me but probably be a good idea to have a backup. The arctic air is only $40 and not an air conditioner. Works really good for blowing cool moist air at you if you have ice and uses hardly any power. Not going to cool the van though only helps to cool you off.

God’s got me, I make sure I have His peace in my heart before I do something and listen if He says to head back or not to do something. Not everyone has the close of a relationship with God or understands how to hear his voice and leading so I understand how the mind can really get into fear and worry. Now If I was purposely living a life of rebellion and not doing my best to walk in His will I may have some issues to worry about forsure. Doesn’t mean to be stupid though as He gave me a brain and wants me to use it 😂
I cannot afford the portable air conditioner and the size battery it would take to run that I only have a 400 watt goal zero system. I do have a portable dehumidifier I can plug in when I have shore power. Other than that I have a ton of hacks for keeping the caravan cool in warm weather
If you have solar and run it on eco mode during the night you don’t really need a massive power station. The way I ran it definitely wasn’t the most efficient and no solar. There definitely are much cheaper and simpler ways to stay cool enough.

Are you running an electric ice chest off your power source
I bet if you took the intake tube off and let the cold air recycle through the AC it would get even cooler.
There’s a reason two tube portable AC’s are better then one tube. What would happen is you’d create a vacuum that would draw the non cooled humid air directly in through the window just as fast as you are trying to cool and take the moisture out of the air. It won’t just recirculate the inside air and make it cooler because you are pushing all that hot air outside which has to be balance out by more hot humid air coming in. So generally you’re better off with both tubes to truly cool and get the humidity out.

Be careful in State Forests with everyone hunting now I believe grouse starts soon make sure to wear that blaze orange people were bitching at me last year in a State Forest, because I was just sitting by a fire relaxing they thought I was being loud .. I wasn’t. I was sitting peacefully.😂😂
Me and joel were talking kind of loud one time walking down a state forest path during hunting season and some dude freaked out while holding a gun. Dude was trying to hunt from the trail and expects everyone to whisper lol. I get it but some people are beyond rude and think they own the land.

@@remyllebeau77 oh wow, sounds like you have a serious gaming computer or something. The power station doesn’t really put off any heat unless you are pulling a ton of power at once and the fridge is super minimal also. I can put my hand right next to it and not feel any heat.

Those offroad scooters need a leg shield on the front just like a normal street scooter does because riding through those tall weeds and grasses is a fast way to get ticks on you.

If money isn’t a factor it’s probably the best option there is. A large shop fan does well for keeping you cool also and pulls way less power
You could buy a cheap window AC, but then what kind of huge battery setup will you need to run it, not to mention figuring out a way to mount it?
@remyllebeau77 My buddy has a Kodiak 2500 wh Solar generator out of curiosity. We took his $225. Walmart window AC unit hooked it up. Cranked it on high, and it was pulling 1450 Watts It would have drained the Kodiak in about 3 and a 1/2 hours of constant running. That makes me wonder how much wattage A Central or whole home air conditioning system pulls. LOL 😲

If you want to make your ac work more efficiently don't intake outside air intake inside air and only have exhaust tube blowing out that way your not trying to cool hot air this is same principle as max air setting on your vehicle max air recirculates the air in the vehicle try it it will save you power.
