- It's finally out! Sorry for taking so long for this one guys, and for damaging your trust with constantly missing upload days. I'll spare you guys the sob story, but there were just a lot of things that kept me from getting this one out. BUT IT'S OUT NOW!

I actually have all the footage and narration recorded for the GBA Magic Mirror glitch, but it felt like I just dragged on and on too much with that glitch. Had to draw the line between information and entertainment at some point and ultimately decided to cut it.

These Graphic glitches appear because of Bank switching.
u would think that all graphics are on the cartridge and can be loadet at any time.
Usually the Snes can only address so much rom from the cartridge and for big games thats not enough space so the game switches around its rom banks for different areas.
Thats why cartridge games can have unloadet sprites in levels.
His positivity and voice just make eveerything great.

I'm glad I found your videos, they're actually well made, well put together, don't drag and it sounds like Postal Dude showing glitches, what's not to like :V
using the glitch to go into the wall, if you go up one screen then to the right 2 screens, then up about 3 more screens you can get to the sanctuary and head to the palace and get the bow and Pegasus boots after you defeat the palace.
I'm fairly certain the reason it doesn't work on the GBA is because they handle saving the game differently. You can still do this glitch on the GBA, but it is activated in a different manner. Rather than save+quit, you jump off a ledge and the instant you do use the Magic Mirror to warp back to the start of the dungeon. Then if done right, run into a wall and you'll fall through. I didn't show this off because it dragged on too much and I wanted to keep the video entertaining, but it works!

In "A Link To The Past" it was called "Flute" and in later games it was renamed and retextured as you can see to be everyone's favorite thing ever the "Ocarina"
I checked out all the stuff you guys sent me after the stream, it was great! :D
the glitched enemies in the file for early game completion are enemies that would load in a post-zelda castle light world, and because the dark world sprites are loaded, all the sprites are scrambled and messed up, this would happen too if you spawned a dark world enemy or a dungeon enemy in the light world.
This is one of the best episodes of Glitchfest to this day

I always liked playing in the rain. It makes for some unique questing since you have to avoid the front of the castle etc.
The world went unbroken in the forest, but he came back for the Magic Boomerang! THE WORLD ALWAYS BREAKS IN GLITCHFEST!
Don't worry, Link won't be stuck forever. After about 15,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years, quantum fluctuations will displace link enough for him to move out of the bounce zone.

When you return to your save file after you beat the game what happens is the light world assets are loaded in the dark world as well as some dark world assets, for instance the laser that stops you from going to Agithniem (I spelled it wrong I know) as soon as you start the game is loaded in the dark world which is what the random jumble if sprites is
I seriously busted out laughing at the end there, great stuff!

My theory on the first glitch and some of it's effects. When Link is hit he becomes temporally invincible(but due to the glitch Link ends up being in a permanently invincible). To achieve invincibility there is a check.The code basically says when invincible link cannot be attacked and cannot attack. The reason death mountain's messed up is due to the way the SNES handles alpha and layers. I can't say for sure but it's probably due to Link being sent under the map and the error handler.
actually, i tested the normal boomerang glitch, and it does eventually stop. EVENTUALLY. it has 3 levels that decrease over time:
level 3 is when you start, and it's faster than your pegasus boots.
after a while it goes to level 2, where your pegasus boots are very slightly faster than the boomerang. after a while, it goes to level 1, where it comes in from the left and returns to you as if you threw it normally.
I know the feeling, when I finish a video, I'm really eager to get it out, to see what the world thinks of my latest creation. most of us are joking when we say we're annoyed from you uploading so late, we all love you scykoh! :D I'm sure I speak for all of us(people who watch your videos) when I say that we don't care when you upload, we are just glad we get to watch the great videos you make! :3

I never finished that run (ended up moving onto White 2 instead) but Day 1 of Emerald didn't save due to issues, Day 2 did save I believe it's on my Twitch page, just type /videos after the live stream URL in the video description.

I thought about it, but ultimately decided not to. I'm still trying to find the right balance between including lots of stuff, but not including so much that it feels like it's bloated and drags. Maybe this video hit the mark, maybe I cut too much, I can't say for sure but I'll continue tweaking things in future episodes until it feels just right. :)
