Awesome video - Could we please have more masterclass videos like this, maybe even make the STL for the model available so people can try to copy exactly and learn that way.
Really nice TutoriADD, it's really well done I love it! It feels aproachable and achivable for a lot of hobbyists. One thing I would have liked to see with more detail is how to paint the axe because I feel a lot of painters struggle with that kind of material, but overall this is a killer. I really enjoy how you promote your paints on these tutorials ❤
I'm still using your old paints for my models the new paints look excellent wen funds come available I will look at up grading still have alot left in your original mega set which have served me well great to see your new upgrade sets 😊
This is an amazing video, please make more using that layering paint style. I bought Warpaints fanatic Starter Set plus some paints from the Mega Set to be able to replicate some of the tutorial steps on my WoW: Wraith of The Lich King tabletop game minis. Started with Arthas (Lich King) and oh boy... do these paints cover well, even when watered down. Great job👏🏻
Love it! Already preordered the complete set and can't wait to get my hands on it. I did have one question I was hoping to get an answer for. Looking at the color chart there doesn't seem to be a lot of dark colors. My favorite black-not-black is necromancer cloak (across all paint lines I've tried) but there isn't a similarly dark grey in the fanatics range? Were you thinking of more colors in the future or was there a plan to do maybe a series that showed how to achieve popular colors from the existing set?
Who knows what paint may come out in the future? As for an article or video on mixing colours, that’s not a bad idea and I’ll definitely pass it along 😁
Great video and awesome figure from Daybreak Miniatures! I love their orcs 😊 I'm curious how long it took for him to complete the mini! The tutorial makes it look like he was able to so it pretty quick, but im guessing at least several hours?
Pregunta, amigos. Does the Mega Set have triads? I love how time saving the triad and ...septad...sextet?...systems are, so I just wanted to check. Gracias and adios! Keep up the great work!
The orc looks great! After Fanatic, are you guys planning to update speedpaints range too? I've been eyeing the complete 2.0 set, but my fiances are limited and it would be a misery to buy it right before something like 3.0 gets announced
Yo I keep reading people are already getting their complete set from their lgs could you please send mine now? I won't tell anyone I promise I just want to paint with the fanatics so badly 😢
Why? A lot of this painting scheme is layering which is a skill we all can do. Glazing is a skill that sounds intimidating but it's just really thin paint, it takes a time getting use to it but it's really forgiving to try out because the paint is so thin you need to slowly built it up. I believe that you can do it. If you just try to tackle one step at a time you will get there 100%. Still a mini painted with joy and while having fun is the best mini ever and skill doesn't matter. What matters is that you enjoy the hobby.
Whoa whoa whoa! Easy now, let's put that feeling to the side. This tutorial is here to help and if there are things in it that you feel above your current skill level, you don't have to do it. May I point out that comparing your painting skills to another painter isn't always a good thing. You should be having fun! It's your hobby after all! Everyone is at a different place with their painting and that's okay. Take pride in what you have painted and, if you want to improve, work on one thing at a time at your own pace. Best of luck out there!
Mini painting is a journey where everyone is welcome and we're all learning and improving together every day. :) I'm sure your painting is better than you're giving yourself credit for, and at the end of the day the most important thing is if you enjoy the process.
I'm 55 and have only been painting for a few years. Just beginning to transition from GW minis to 3d prints, I'm really looking forward to this new paint set.
Stay positive with what you do, not everyone has to be Rembrandt or Van Gogh. I’m also not that great with mini painting but I try to paint stuff I find cool and I take pleasure in seeing the happy accident and sometime good surprise. I find the layering technique to be the most accessible. Just slowly build from dark to light, it works well on “messy” minis like orks ect. I find space marines to be harder to paint because they require more precision and brush control than I have. But in all cases I’m just not going for golden demon, just paint and have fun, nothing has any kind of meaning, it’s the meaning you wanna give to it that matters.

It‘s Lokomotiv Zwingli by Daybreak Miniatures, 5$ on MyMiniFactory
MMF has it for $5. Lokomotiv Zwingli Orc. It belongs to Daybreak miniatures, so AP can’t just give out the STL file.
I think I just learned more in the first two minutes of this video than I have in the last 12 months of trying to stumble my way through painting!
Really wish you included this mini in the mega and complete set.
That is a phenomenal paintjob! Absolutely amazing! ❤️
Great video. Please do another one in this style but showing the flexible triad system from start to finish 😃
More like this please!

I look forward to try it out. 🖌
Nice! Now do one for the starter set!
I’m so excited for the release of these paints. 👍👍👍

Yeeees! More hype! Turns out my mega paint set is still on preorder so I cant wait for it

Really enjoyed this tutorial. Thanks!
Video content is great! Can you folks get Thomas a camera that focuses?

Keep them coming +
Will the fanatic line have a new Brainmatter beige and necrotic flesh? Those are two of my favorites!
Yes indeed!
Damn, I need these paints. :D
Love your paint sets, just can't afford them right now

@@TheArmyPainter thank you for replying!
@@TheArmyPainter Stick some recipes in there for popular 'historical' colours, like Feldgrau, and you might win over some of the war-game crowd :)
Great video and awesome figure from Daybreak Miniatures! I love their orcs 😊

Love the mini. $5.00 on MMF. Just picked it up. My paint skills are nowhere near this though…..

You get a nice sampling of a few Flexible Triads within it, but no complete Flexible Triads
@@TheArmyPainter Perfecto! Thanks!
I will get mega set👌🏻
Would Deep Ocean blue be similar to the Matt Black + Abyssal Blue?
You will get something similar by mixing in a bit of Matt Black, but it won't be exact.
The orc looks great!

No changes to Speedpaint anytime in the foreseeable future
@@TheArmyPainter hell yeah, thank you!
Does anyone have a good/simple Army Painter Greenskin recipe utilising greens from the whole range?
can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Yes :) They'll just need to be thinned
need the ork fig
It's Lokomotiv Zwingli by Daybreak Miniatures
@@TheArmyPainter oh damn, I don't have a 3d printer
great paintjob.. apart from the fact that ork kind stems from floral origin and therefore have gren blood....
Yo I keep reading people are already getting their complete set from their lgs could you please send mine now? I won't tell anyone I promise I just want to paint with the fanatics so badly 😢
Okay my skills are garbage and I'm too old to try n paint any better than I do. Watching this makes me feel just want to quit painting... Lol...

Please update your background music, you been playing the same music in every video for years.
I actually look forward to their tutorials in part because the music is relaxing after a long day.
You must not watch much from AP because they play a lot of different music
