Thanks for this video bro... I bought a generic Gamecube Adapter for Wii U just thinking of playing Gamecube games using my Gamecube Controller (instead of my Wii U Gamepad, which is also awesome, but I wanted to try it the original way and have the possibility of adding additional players for local multigaming) and I didn't get it to work... I watched as well several videos, but they all pointed that only Nintendo original branch or the Mayflash brand were the only ones to get the job done... I felt so frustrated that I though I throw my money to the garbage and I was also tempted to buy the expensive Nintendo or Mayflash Gamecube adapter until I made a last search on youtube and found your video... I tried it and "voila"... Now I can play gamecube games on Nintendont using my original wired gamecube controller and I also have the possibility to have local multiplayer support... A really useful tutorial... You've already won my thumbs up, my subscription to your channel and I've already hit he ring in order to be notify once you load another outstanding video like this one...
There are two of us hehehe, I try to configure the HID-Pad method that in the end does NOT work, but for the emulator's posteriority I hope to achieve the goal hehehe.
Hi it's worked for me but only 1 controller connected. Other controllers not working I want to play Mario party 4 woth friends and only 1 controller connected how did you make it work. Please help me i bought the adapter from a online store a d 1 day left for return the items do i kept or not 😂😢
Thank you very much, it's the only thing that has worked for me. It's true that there's no rumble, but it doesn't matter. About the C-stick, I don't know if it depends on the game, but the ones I've tested look fine.
Okay so I found out that for anyone doing this on Windows DO NOT add ".ini" at the end of the file name. Just name it the PID and VID like in the video but dont add the ".ini"
so is there a way to switch easy between control set ups? for example, i want default controls in games like sunshine and double dash, but for smash melee, there is no in game control change option. is there any way of changing them?
I'm using an adapter with 057E_0337 VIP PID, I NEED HELP. First question is do i use the back usb ports or the front for the gamecube adapter? Second question is placement of a "controllers" folder.. i want to make sure its in the correct place... I have it with all the folders in the first expanded tree once i click on usb drive. thanks!
If you’re using a Wii U you can use the front USB ports for the adapter. The controllers folder will not be inside any other folders on your storage device. For example it would be SD:/controllers
i've successfully gotten the VID and PID (057E, 2009) for my controller (switch pro controller), but it doesn't seem like the github has a .ini file that matches them. just changing the VID and PID inside the .ini file doesn't seem to do the trick - do you know how to find the corresponding values for the face buttons? the ones that are like A=0,04, B=0,02, X=0,08... etc.
i'm just gonna assume switch pro controllers aren't currently compatible with nintendont through usb, as it didn't seem to function correctly on the HID tester homebrew program either
i don’t think so unfortunately, but i think that’s an issue with nintendont itself. If you have other wii remotes and wii classic controllers you could probably do it
@@ChristopherSkibbe Sorry for the law response, i’m not very active on this account.
