Nice beats and nice machine. hope they send you some more product to review, as I'm probably in the market for something like this in the next 12 months! Keep up the good work
Great sounding gear! You can really hear the various settings and each of their attributes. How would you compare this to a piece such as the analog heat? Similar or two completely different results?
Thank you for the demo. It seems if you turn the ratio above 4:1 and the threshold on the higher digits it eats up the bottom end especially the kick. On the contrary - lower compression setup with the high intensity knob really makes it shine and improves all the freq spectrum - of course just my subjective opinion.
Yes it does eat up the low end, I like it actually, it helps my mix because I am always heavy handed on the bass and the Magnetismus controls it just perfect.
Whoa! Magic blue box! God DAMN it makes things sound good. Gives it so much depth. In comparison the beats sound rather flat when you switch it to bypass. But that is just after hearing it active first. So without a good compressor you don't even know how good it could sound. Damn it. Now that I have heard the difference I gotta learn how to use compressors. :/
nothing else to say @10:44? how about the price and a link to the manufacturer in the description. fyi its over $2,000 for everybody else curious who was to lazy to google.
I'm curious about something. In your opinion, is it something you can't get with a 100€ plugin ? It's a real question cause for this subtle flavor that it adds the price is relatively high (i'm broke ^^) By the way, those beats are dope af.
You can get close with stock it's just learning your gear. You've surprised what you can do with a comp and an eq . Hint you might want to put the eq second
While it sounds good, it eats up way too much bass. If you're not using full range monitors you won't hear it, but every time you take it out of bypass, you lose almost an entire octave of bass. While I was interested in it, this video has shown me that it's not good for this type of music at all. I'm sure it'll sound great on other percussive instruments like acoustic guitar where bass isn't as important if you lose bottom, but as for being a drum buss compressor, it's not good enough for that unless you use it in parallel so that your entire bottom doesn't drop out when you take it out of bypass.
I would love to see your process of mixing down your beats with all that sweet gear
Me too.
coming soon
Finally a outboard gear review with someone doing DOPE hip hop!
The compressor sounds fantastic, great beats btw!
Yeah the compressor is really amazing, it glues the mix really well.
It definitely adds some flavors !! I'll put it in the list of the gears I'm interested in !!

Awesome unit!
I'm a HUGE fan of Tegeler. I got the Magnetismus 2 & the Creme last summer. They are on almost every session these days!
I'll use this on my drum buss.

Compression sounds really nice on it- also the beats are dope.
Dat bass is sick!
BLESS UP

That is really cool!
Very dope
I'm embarrassed because I have never heard or seen this, but it sounds amazing!!🙏🏾✊🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥

yeah I think depth is a good work to explain what it does. It also glues everything together very well.

Nice gear very interesting 🔥🇨🇦👊🏿
It really adds some additional flavor. Although it's quite a pricey flavor as it seems..
Have you been using this in conjunction with your
analog heat?
Not for this video, but yeah sometimes I use it together with the analog heat.
What’s the difference between the crème and magnitismus?
One has an eq the other has a transient shaper and a saturator. Both have VCA compression.

É bem interessante a máquina e cola a mix toda muito facilmente.

Are you still using the analog heat?
yeah, it's always on the master out. Not for this video though.

On my iPhone speaker, everything sounds the same!👀
somethings will be hard to perceive on an iphone
