Basic Sound Design on the Edit Page | DaVinci Resolve

Final sound design on a film is done on the Fairlight page in DaVinci Resolve. However, I perform most of my audio placement along with basic sound design on the edit page.
This is no different than major studio productions. The picture editor is always performing basic sound design and music editing in Avid before final sound design is done in apps like ProTools.
Why? Because you need temp sound and music for test screenings and just to accurately picture lock a film.
The tight integration in DaVinci Resolve makes all of this so much easier than Avid ever was for me. I love not having to take my timeline to ProTools and then back again like the old days.
