Anyone else have one of these....I just got mine yesterday......DISCLAIMER.....MAJOR ISSUE with this knife....ok, disengage safety slide actuator to deploy blade.....IF YOU ENGAGE THE SAFETY WHILE THE BLADE IS DEPLOYED, UNLOCK THE BLADE, RETRACT THE BLADE,WITH THE CHARGING HANDLE, TO PUT IT BACK IN ACTION OR BATTERY. The safety is on....BUT THE BLADE WILL STILL DEPLOY. never activate safety until AFTER the blade is fully retracted.
THIS IS A SERIOUS ISSUE....
You probably broke the safety. You should take it apart and look at the internals and see what happened. If you do just watch out for the spring cause I’m sure they’ll try to spring out. I got one and it came a few days from Bladehq when they had the sale. I’ve been wanting to get it but never could because the price.(I’m only in highschool so) the safety on mine still works and I’ve been playing with it a lot but I’ve been careful to not engage the safety with the blade deployed.
@@caladair2087 wow.... you're probably right, it never even occurred to me that I may have broken the safety.🤔 I hadn't even thought about that knife in a good while. I ended up, passing it to my boss at work, he loves new knives even more than me. It just made me kinda nervous, I went back to my Spyderco resilience for EDC, good Spyderco in their budget line. There just seemed to be WAY too many moving parts in that thing. Almost like the one time I really need it to work, imma pull it from my pocket and it's not going to deploy all the way. I got it on Amazon for a really good price....so no worries. I recently got a Harnds Assassin on Amazon as well, maybe 35 bucks, there are videos about it on TH-cam. Nice, basic flipper, no spring assistance.... actually ceramic bearings,( u can c em), very, very nice, especially for 35 bucks. If you get a chance, try looking that one up.....not much else to do right now.👍👍
Marco Arce oh I got one a few days ago. I paid about $28 total because BladeHQ had a sale and I think it may still be on and the knife was $24 instead of $40. I first saw it a few years ago and wanted it because Assassins creed and all that but I never could pull the trigger on getting it. Then I saw they had a sale a I saw it as one of the knives on sale and almost immediately got it. Probably the coolest knife I own. It was shaving sharp. I probably won’t use it in my edc but I will carry it cause it’s fun to play with. I almost did what you did and closed it with the safety on. And I assume the safety broke on yours because you kinda closed over the safety and I’ve seen reviews of the safety breaking.
@@caladair2087 yup... I saw it, and right away I was like I'm getting it. I need to seriously check out bladeHQ, I've consistently heard good things about things about their selection and prices. That Harnds though, plain brown box, but first thing I noticed was that closed the blade was dead center, good sign, and the action, with no springs, is smooth. Little blue ceramic bearings in there. It's a nice knife, with a beefy almost 4" blade, but a slim profile closed. Two thumbs up..... I've been checking out Japanese folders, nice lines, with like a retro, traditional feel, very nice.

That's an AKC Concorde. Its around 70 to 100 bucks.

Pretty awkward opening, Deploy button at the other end of knife, not like others with button in the middle of handle body, to reverse launch back is a little weird also, has a release to reload. Will say has a pretty strong spring when opening and almost no wiggle as compared to cheap Chinese clones and even some high end OTFs. Crazy Blade on mine, hair Popping Sharp. Got for under $30 new on Ebay. In all I give it a MEH++
