Hands down, Daniel Day Lewis is the finest actor of our generation. It seems so fitting that he would marry the daughter of one of America’s finest playwrights. An extraordinarily interview. I’ve rarely seen Lewis this unguarded and engaging. :)

I think Isabelle couldn't provide him what he needed, which is stability. He wanted someone who would become a part of his life, his home, which is in Ireland. Isabelle didn't do it, Rebecca did. It seems that Rebecca is beautiful, intelligent and a lot more understanding as a partner, as a wife. Their relationship probably is based on friendship, he probably doesn't have that passion he had with Isabelle, but he chose compatibility over passion, which us artsy people have difficulty doing. Being an artist and a fellow Taurean, like himself, I understand the madness, the passion.
These two were made for each other.
Two fascinating people...wonderful that they are married. Daniel Day-Lewis is the greatest actor alive on the planet. His wife, Rebecca, is equally talented as a writer and director. And Rebecca is so mesmerizingly beautiful.

But he and Rebecca deserve two narcissists.Just research her father, what he did with her brother who was born with down syndrome, and she pretends that her father .
She's pretty, but she has no talent and her movies are bad.Her merit is in the media and is due to her father and husband.

I thought this movie moving and somewhat autobiographical based, like so many other of her films, on the father-daughter relationship between Ms. Miller and her father. I can pick apart the symbolism in her stories so I always look forward to her films.

I have a favorite movie of Harrison Ford that I have watched for YEARS. It's called REGARDING HENRY. It was filmed in 1966. I had never known that a minor role in that movie was the wife of Daniel Day Lewis. SHe is certainly beautiful there as a young lady. But now in this video, I can appreciate both of them even more.
I recently watched the film and I like it in general terms. Of course, Daniel Day-Lewis is always great, his acting makes better any film he is in. I liked the story between the teen daughter not knowing what kind of relationship to have with her sick, weak dad, the way she wants to reach his heart so close that it could become dangerous for her.
This is just one of the best ones.

This guy interrupts and cuts them off way too much.
He’s not doing it anymore.
Charlie was pretentious in this interview and he cuts off and gives pregnant pauses. It’s like acting here. He did have great interviews though and gets people to dialogue and analyze in depth in a way that doesn’t exist on TV now.

I dont think DDL would have trouble turning down ANY ROLE HE DIDNT FEEL A PULL TO MAKE wifes script included. He felt something about the role or he would never have done it period.
