      I don't man... I applied for Rotman, so if I get a offer I might or might not depending on if I get in Accounting and Financial Management (AFM) at University of Waterloo especially because they both are great programs and AFM does have co-op soooo yeah.

    Richard, you don't know how much helpful your videos are being to me(thank u so much for this!), I'm finishing the high school this year and I pretend to apply to UofT soon as possible. I got really excited about the clubs, they look so interesting! Can you make a video talking more about them??

    Hey Richard!
    It's been a great experience to see you grow in all these years.
    I would be applying to U of T in the September 2024 intake. I request you to please make a brief video covering the clubs that are available for the rotman commerce students along side the procedure to apply to them.
    Also how was your experience while finding internships as the degree is not a co-op?

    I applied to uoft for the fall semester. And it seems like getting in will be harder than I thought. So I was wondering what exactly is a good grade.

    Can you get a scholarship at U of T for undergraduate studies as a transfer student?
    Please let me know

  • @tanned06

    Go to U of T for grad schools, not undergrads. That's the advice I always give to my juniors having completed grad degrees from there many years ago.

      100%. The research faculty there is quite insane across all disciplines and will work to your advantage when it is publishing time. Undergrad, it doesn't matter where you go.

    I'm a hiring manager for the last 3 years at a large financial institution, from our experience with past co-op students/interns, Waterloo students outperform UofT, even students from Rotman MBA. So what you saying is true, we rather take a top student from another university than an average student from the top university in Canada.

    It feels pretty out of context when you say that UofT is the #1 institution in Canada as the ranking system is mostly based on research impact. The ranking system might work to your advantage when you are in graduate school but for the typical undergraduate student, I can't imagine it would help them all that much. It's not particularly difficult to get into a UofT undergraduate program but it's mostly what you make of your experience there.

    • @RichardHan
      @RichardHan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Speaking from experience, it helps a lot regardless if you’re an undergraduate or graduate student📚

    • @PHILLYMEDIC69
      @PHILLYMEDIC69 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@RichardHan We can agree to disagree on that. I don't think undergraduate institution matters that much in Canada unless it is not accredited.
