Beautiful! This was very helpful to watch. Thank you for working so hard to give us content despite your busy schedule. I know how difficult that can be.
There are a number of ways. You don't need to apply all of them in every scene but a good place to start is "scaling" I think that this gets a little over-looked, Basically, give some time and thought to the relative size of your components: Trees / land masses / diminishing details and form at the edges of rivers, roads, etc 👍

Excellent demonstration and great tips for loosening up. Definitely a like and most definitely subscribed!
Cheers Mark! 🙏
Thanks so much Howard. I really enjoyed watching your loose semi-abstract approach today. I learn so much from you!
Cheers John 👍
Just found your channel, Howard. Lovely to watch you bring the paint to life. Will definitely be learning a lot from you so thank you!
I liked it! Upper left corner had some marks left by the scraper that looked like some farm buildings. Robt
This demo took me back xx years to my oil painting years. It reminds me how I used to block in a landscape. Love what you did.
I would request to purchase this one if I had years to enjoy it. Alas ... 💌
Oh Sandra 🙏

Another beauty 🧡💚🤎
Thank you Lois 🙏
Absolutely love it! Thank you.
Great demo and explanation. But how do you get so much depth and perspective in your paintings? Mine always look flat.
