I used to say that I was nothing but the medium of exchange between my paper and brush. This takes the notion to a level everyone should love because an observer of an art work always does his own creation between the eyes and the art. It’s why they love it, because they create too in the process. Great stuff.
That`s so very beautiful, thank you for sharing this technique and commenting so well on every step and stage! The technique in a beautiful way tansports that light and airy feeling when walking through such a landscape, maybe in late spring or at end of summer. I am looking for a technique that would fit a cover of a novel, half of it italian renaissance setting, mostly in the country. Well, that would fit nicely, what an inspíration, and, as you say: There`s not much you can do so very wrong, just try out and play with it! 😀
I’ve just dove into the abstract world after painting bordering on hyper realistic for years. It just stopped feeding my soul. This was a perfect foray into this new mystical and magical world. Thank you, Denise, for sharing your immense talents. I happen to have a fude pen, but never really knew what to do with it. Well, I sure do now! 😜
Oh my goodness...this is gorgeous! I love your unique techniques and the freeness in your approach. I found your channel just today and love it! I'm looking forward to watching your other videos. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and stunning painting, I think it’s absolutely amazing and Brilliant too. My sister recommended you to me and I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up too.
I just found this video and looked at your videos list. I cannot understand why you have so few subscribers. You have some wonderful videos listed which I'm really looking forward to watching. I love your relaxed style of presentation. Really enjoyable and inspiring video, this one. I look forward to all the others. I have subsribed.
Another brilliant video! And your brain isn't strange, it is beautifully creative! Thanks for providing a wonderfully fun way to get "unstuck!" I just purchased a fude nibbed fountain pen and am going to now go and paint the Dog Rose watercolor from your video using my Pebeo Mirror Effect Leaves and Mixation Relief! Sincere thanks for getting this artist going again after a couple of weeks utterly "stuck!" xxx

Thank you so much! And thank you to your sister.
Very nice work Denise. This is my idea of what art aught to be, not merely illustration but where spontaneity and improvisation are the driving force.
Thank you. I'm glad you appreciate this idea. I love letting the work tell me how to go.

Thank you Linda, so pleased it has helped.
Love this video. I see the pen needs cartridges. What sort of ink do you use! Is it the waterproof kind?
This pen needs cartridges. I use quink ink which is not waterproof. I live it when it washes out a bit too.
I have also now got this version of the pen which is refillable. amzn.to/3tRazO5
@@artydenisebrilliant! Thank you 👍
What was in the little plastic vials, that you shook onto the painting please.
It was Brusho, powdered watercolour inks. I have added a link in the description for you.
반갑습니다😊
Lovely! Thank you for this great demo, I definitely want to give this a try! Can you tell me the name of that pen?
The pen is a fountain pen. I am using black quink. The unusual part is the nib which is a Fude nib. You can get them on Amazon. Have fun playing.
That was so much fun! Love it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wish you would have taken off the tape!
I try to remember but forget sometimes.
